After nearly two decades in production, Ford stopped making this car in 2018. Fortunately, the last few years of its development brought many advances for the Focus RS. Every update to the Focus RS brought more power and engineering tricks. This is the main reason that these models hold their value very well, with the possibility of increases in value over time. The combination of a 350-horsepower turbo engine with all-wheel drive in some years offers predictably fun driving experiences on winding roads. Despite having so much power, in the city, it offers a very smooth and quiet ride, with its sport suspension soaking up any bumps in the road.
The RS is focused on a driver's experience, so the seating and interior layout are sometimes just sufficient for passenger comfort. The stiff suspension may not be comfortable enough for kids in the backseat, although ride noise is sufficiently quiet around town to make this an acceptable daily drive.

The value that you get for your money is unbeatable in comparison to other models in this segment.
At the same time, the performance aspects of the RS make this car very tempting to aftermarket and modification hobbyists. Because of this, make sure that you get a complete service history for the vehicle. Especially with vehicles still under warranty, adding aftermarket parts or modifying turbochargers can void warranties.
The RS has a strong cult following, especially now that new models will not come out. This makes them hard to come by but worth a look when one becomes available.
