Due to the current state of affairs.....you may have noticed that car lots are almost empty and the going rate for used vehicles with 'low' milage are very difficult to find. I knew exactly what make and model I wanted and I was able to find it on Carvana. I changed my mind a couple of times and that delayed my order delivery to the nearest Vending machine. Carvana also had a couple of delivery delays due to weather and COVID. So yes you should expect a 'speed bump' along the way. We're talking 'vehicles' here not amazon packages. You need to be diligent here and do your own research between the photos and the CARFAX report. My 2018 Chevy Colorado was spot on with only 22,000 miles on it. It was perfectly represented on-line and I got exactly what was being offered for sale. A word of note here,,,,you can call and ask where the vehicle is currently at? If you live in Florida and your vehicle is in Seattle....then do the 'math' yourself. Carvana has to work thru the logistics of trucking, staffing, weather, and COVID to get that vehicle to you.
Every time I called (and it was allot) the advocates were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, with clear communication skills. Need I say more in this day and age?
The only thing I 'rolled the dice on',,,,was wether my used vehicle was owned previously by a smoker? This would have been a deal breaker. I wish they would include this in their 150 point inspection process.
Over all I feel this is the new way to purchase a vehicle. If you're the type of person who knows exactly what they're looking for....then you can do no better.
