Like many (I assume) who are first hearing about Carvana, I was really hopeful that it was legit and simultaneously very skeptical of the whole process. I decided to give them a call and talked to a young guy who patiently explained everything, answered all my questions, and even created an account for me. When they say they aren't salesmen, they mean it — this guy was simply a customer service rep, didn't try to sell me on anything, nothing like that. It was awesome, and that alone gave me some good vibes. I went online and read everything I could about Carvana and all the stipulations to their claims about money back guarantee for 7 days, etc. Still skeptical, I took the plunge and ordered a car. Free delivery, got here in 4 or 5 days. The lady who dropped it off was very nice, very professional, and again, didn't try to sell me anything. Two signatures and a quick test drive later, and she took off and I headed straight to my mechanic. They checked it out and came back to tell me the thing looks flawless, basically brand new (2016, 23,000 miles). The previous owner even had the undercoating applied, which is a nice bonus. Test drove it a lot over the next week, keeping it under the 400 mile grace distance, and found zero issues. Drives like a dream, looks incredible, and I'm pleased to say Carvana was straight up and perfectly honest about everything. Very easy, too, way more so than going to a dealership.
I'm recommending Caravan to anyone who'll listen to me blather on about the experience. I'm officially a believer, and I won't hesitate to go back to them whenever the time comes for a new ride. They've got another very, very satisfied customer.
