Used 2015 Toyota Prius V

This was my first experience with Carvana and it was a positive one. I liked the convenience and especially the selection that I found. I was looking for a particular vehicle (Prius V) and other local dealers either had no inventory or very limited availability. I probably paid a slight premium for the cost of the vehicle, but the convenience, selection, and available financing more than offset whatever pricing premium I may have paid. Bottom line: the car is all that I hoped it would be. I would consider using Carvana in the future based on this transaction. The only minor speed bump I experienced was the fact that the car only came with one keyless remote fob (which was apparently disclosed in the paperwork somewhere, but is not something that many cars buyers consider). Do not underestimate the hassle and expense associated with trying to get a 2nd or 3rd keyless remote fob, especially for a 2015 Prius V. I learned far more than I ever wanted to about buying a used fob vs. a new fob off eBay and the need to "virginize" my car (erase the car's existing fob code), so a used fob could be programmed. It took two different locksmiths to get the job done and I spent a number of hours in the process. It cost me a total of about $150 per programmed replacement fob. It would have cost almost $500 per programmed fob if I went through a Toyota dealership. Given that Carvana has the resources and knowledge about such things, I would recommend that they only sell vehicles with at least 2 keyless remote fobs and that they increase the price slightly on those vehicles that come into their inventory with only one fob to offset the effort and cost of solving this problem before a car is delivered to the end purchaser. I write in detail regarding this relatively minor issue not because I am unhappy with the overall Carvana experience, but because other prospective buyers should be aware that getting a replacement fob can be an education and will certainly be an added expense - the extent of which varies from vehicle to vehicle. Again, overall I had a positive car buyer experience with Carvana.

Carvana is "Amazon" for Cars, but the purchase is consistently a High-Quality Purchase. We started the journey with Carvana unexpectedly on 4/12/17 after being informed our current vehicle was totalled. The journey was completed on 4/14/17 with a purchase. The entire process was simple, easy, fast, honest, transparent, and comprehensive. This is exactly what we should expect as customers. The limited inventory is completely acceptable, considering that these are one-owner vehicles without major accidents. I serviced the car on 4/15/17, and everything was in perfect order. Dealers, your time is getting close to expiring, just like the USPS or brick-mortar stores. Adapt or become irrelevant. PS: The gimmicky car-vending machine bit is unnecessary, especially when this method of car purchasing becomes a standard.

I just purchased a Prius V last week, and I'm so happy I did it through Carvana. I truly believe Carvana will be the future of buying cars. I didn't have to negotiate and be hassled by a number of salespeople, the transaction was seamless, and every Carvana representative was extremely kind and helpful.

Almost every step of the selection and purchase process was fun. And the customer advocates helped me navigate the steps that were anxiety ridden for this 65 year old technophobe. The price and quality of the car were exactly as advertised. The Car Vending Machine in Nashville is conveniently located with easy access to I-65 and fascinating to behold. The final paperwork was completed in a timely manner and I was headed home an hour earlier than I had planned.

EASY process, great customer service, knowledgeable staff, great car!

This was the most wonderful car buying experience I have ever had. I have never written a review for any other company before this but they made this so simple to do and took care of everything all the way down to my tag. The first dealership I tried to use wanted to charge me 27% interest and $2000 not than the value of the vehicle. My interest rate through Carvana was 9.5% and the price was like $1000 less than the average value of the car! It is ridiculous how much different this has been verses other experiences I've had purchasing almost anything. I've only had my car two days and am already about to buy my daughter a car through them and trying to get my mom to buy a car through them. I was really impressed with Carvana, and MUCH preferred the process to that of a dealership. In fact, I plan on never buying from a dealer again - it's a hassle and you can't trust them. I had already driven a few Prius v models so I knew that was the car I wanted. I went onto Carvana's website, found one at a good price and a decent number of miles, and started the process. I was frustrated when they contacted me the night before saying they had found some light damage upon final inspection that needed to be repaired, as that caused a delay in my delivery date. Then, when shipping a load of cars to Orlando, they forgot to stick my car on with the others, which caused another delay. That said, they more than made up for it. Taylor B. contacted me, gave me her cell to call or text with any questions (I did and she always promptly answered), and she personally drove the car from Orlando down to me in South Florida at no charge. She more than made up for the delays and I still enjoyed my shopping experience. I absolutely love my new (used) car and I have already recommended Carvana to tons of people. I will most certainly shop with them again in the future. This was a much better car buying experience and saved me the headache of haggling with a dealer. Avoid the dealer and go with Carvana!
