Used 2015 Toyota 4Runner

I purchased this 2015 Toyota 4Runner about a month ago. The license plates arrived today so I now consider this a "done deal". I looked around at local dealers, ebay and other on-line sites looking for a "good value" on a solid used 4Runner and was very pleased to find this vehicle. I felt I got an excellent vehicle at a very competitive price and Carvana's customer service was EXCELLENT from start through delivery. I'm a very happy client!!

I purchased a 2015 4Runner. And I had a 2003 4Runner with over 200k miles on it so I knew I was getting a good car if it was properly cared for. Once the car arrived and I took it for my 7 day trial period, I decided to get it inspected on day 3 of the trial. Turns out it had been "abused" according to the independent inspector, buried in mud all the way to halfway up front fender. I was upset because the 150 point inspection did not catch all the mud that was sitting on the transmission or the mud in the engine compartment. They took back the car with no issue, and initially I thought I was just going to be done with Carvana. But the Austin Manager, Ben, came to my house (with my 2003 4Runner) and showed me some other options. I chose another 2015 4Runner as option number 2, asked them to inspect the truck with an independent inspector and replace anything not right. The tires on the front of the truck needed replacing and they did that fine with the same upgraded tires as were on the back. But the brakes need work and some rust underneath which wasn't covered. All in all, I am happy with my purchase....I just wish the 150 point inspection really held up to its promises. Mud and bald tires should be easy to catch if they did their job right.

This is my second vehicle purchase from Carvana. The first experience (two years ago) was awesome. I couldn't have been happier with the process or the vehicle. I convinced three of my friends to buy from Carvana because of it. HOWEVER, THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN AWFUL. The car I purchased (2015 4Runner) had major paint discoloration on certain parts of the vehicle that we're not pictured online prior to the purchase, the car was filthy when I picked it up (black dog hair all over the seats, the seats we're badly stained, and the interior was scratched up in the rear of the car). The key fob doesn't work. The touch screen monitor is malfunctioning, constantly. None of these issues with the car were listed on the website. I found all of these problems when I picked up the car. Carvana has offered me $150 reimbursement to have the interior detailed, which is great - but I'd rather just have the car that they described online. I've already had to take the car into the dealership TWICE to have the other problems addressed, and still have to go back another time to have the paint issues fixed. What a giant hassle and waste of my time! The reason I purchased from Carvana in the first place was for convenience - and because I hate traditional car dealerships. Last thing, they we're a day late delivering the car and still charged me $199 for delivery. I'll never purchase another car from Carvana again....and I'll be sure and tell everyone I know about my experience.

I bought a 2014 4-Runner sight unseen and you'd never know it. The website shows every single detail about the vehicle inside & out and even included the car facts. What a great way to do business.

the online photos did not highlight all of the scratches and cosmetic imperfections on the inside. the car was full of sand? so the sales guy gave me a gift card for $25 to get it detailed again. the outside of the car was as described and appears to be in great shape. however i wish the online depiction of the inside imperfections had been more honest. i called the customer service line after having the car a few hours to let them know - i live 5 hours away so bringing the car back within the time frame and under the allotted mileage would be quite a challenge for me so i am just going to keep the car.

From the initial phone call to the delivery of my vehicle it was a great experience. Carvana prepared my quote upfront and NOT looted by hidden fees. The delivery of my vehicle was ON TIME and representatives was helpful and friendly. The friendly gentleman (Shawn) that brought the car on the Carvana flatbed truck was professional, knowledge and best of all ON TIME! I can say this will be my choice in car buying moving forward!! It definitely did NOT suck and I really liked it!

Bought a 14 4Runner and was excited about how simple the process was. The site showed me the couple of dings the suv has and all the features. The process was seamless and actually kind of fun. The only complaint I have is that the site and delivery guys told me the car hadn't been in an accident. However, when I received the suv I had a mechanic look at it and he showed me that, it in fact had been in one. The rear bumper was misaligned and there was visible silicone attaching the rear bumper to the left quarter and left tail lamp. Now the only thing I'm struggling with is if I'm going to keep it before the 7 day test drive is up.
