I've been in love with the Nissan Juke ever since they were released. After my accident, it was finally time to invest in a new car. I fell in love with a 2016 Nissan Juke that I found on Carvana.
It was super easy to reserve the car and Carvana was nice enough to hold the car until my insurance payout came through.
There was a small delay in my car delivery which was difficult and frustrating as I did not have a car due to my accident. I wish Carvana would have offered a rental or something - I made it out okay, though.
On the day of pick-up, I received a call from Carvana telling me they didn't have the cleaner they used to clean bugs of the car...which was okay as they offered to give my a $50 gift card to get a car wash. Once I arrived to Carvana, I got really excited as they had my Juke set up in really cute display with a halo over it :)
I brought my boyfriend and dad with me just to make sure I was asking the right questions. I was pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of the car. I could tell they didn't even open the hood. It was filthy with salt residue (the car came from Michigan) and had not been wiped down. Also, the car was missing a spare tire...which I thought was odd that they didn't notice that. They should be doing a thorough check BEFORE the buyer arrives.
Also, randomly, the passenger side door wouldn't open. They were very apologetic and immediately made me an appointment at Nissan to get the issue fixed and it was through warranty. I ended up asking for more in gift cards to get my car washed, as it was going to take more than a wipe down - they reluctantly obliged and gave me $120 in $10 gift cards.
Signing and getting the keys was easy. I was super excited to have my dream car and the process was fairly smooth. He ensured me that he would be in contact regarding my spare tire (he never was) and that someone would call me on the 6th day (no one did) to check up on me. I ended up reaching out to them (after holding for 20mins) and learned that I was to go pick out a tire and they would pay for it - which would have been great information upfront so as I would not have had to waste time driving around without a spare. So the communication could really be worked on.
Overall, I really do love my car and I think I got a great price. It was a simple process that I appreciate. My only criticism would be the customer service and the lack on clear communication.
