So I think I committed the ultimate sin! I turned a car back over within the 7 days. It was a '16 Camaro SS. Loved it but a manual transmission and all of that horsepower just told me, it would be an expensive car to own. So I did find the EXACT car I wanted and one week later, we met for the swap. But this is where the problems begin... first the young lady who delivered both cars on a flatbed mind you -was the ultimate professional and did everything that was her job to do ABOVE AND BEYOND and she alone should be getting 10 stars. She is a star and CARVANA, if you do anything right from this review -keep that young lady because she WILL BE A SUPERSTAR and I would do all I could to keep such a dedicated and relatable employee.
BUT -outside of her control, the deposit that was put down on the Camaro which was to SEEMLESSLY move to the new contract for the 2016 Cadillac ATS Coupe. So rather than doing that, they took the overall deposit out AGAIN only days after I picked up the Caddy! Couldn't even wait that 7 day wait period -think you waiting about 24 hours!!! And POOF -another $1,000.00 disappeared from my checking account. I called frantic on a Friday evening AFTER sending out ALL of the mid-month bills just hours before seeing this -"Do you have any idea of the domino effect that is going to transpire here??" They couldn't reverse the charge on Friday night, my bank, Wells Fargo, had the second $1,000.00 sitting in PENDING status. Surely there was something that could be done. NO! Nothing... and as much as the young lady that took my call that evening wanted to make this right, all she was able to offer after this very disturbing set of circumstances, was a check for $100. I thanked her but told her, if this hits the fan, there would be a horrible domino effect to follow. Nothing was done. THANK GOD I had the funds that I could ride it out after moving some things around and cancelling payments that were due to accommodate Carvana's mistake.
I will say everyone I have had contact with has been professional and sweet. BUT $100 fix to a $1000.00 is far from fair. JUST SAYIN'.... I LOVE MY CAR and I would try using the service again because I hate car salesmen. So I may be back!!
