We book only one appointment per 45 min to ensure there is no overlap between customers and ample time between each appointment to sanitize the lobby, including all door handles, tables, chairs and Carvana coins. Your Carvana Team member will stay 6ft away all times and use a designated table to exchange documents and items

How do Carvana's Car Vending Machines work?

To pick-up a purchased vehicle at a Carvana Car Vending Machine, the customer simply drops their custom coin (which they receive upon arrival) into the Car Vending Machine’s coin slot, which then illuminates the coin receptacle and activates the automated vehicle delivery system. With the customer looking on, the Car Vending Machine then retrieves the vehicle from the Tower and brings it directly to a delivery bay. Once in the bay, the customer is invited to take possession of their car, where they will have seven days to drive the car around town before ultimately deciding if the vehicle is right for them.

How many Carvana Car Vending Machines are there?

There are currently 40 Carvana Car Vending Machines scattered throughout the country, with many more planned for future markets. The very first Car Vending Machine was built and launched in Nashville (Tenn.) in 2015, while the tallest Car Vending Machine resides in Tempe (Ariz.) and stands nine stories.

Can I buy a car I see inside the Carvana Vending Machine?

The vehicles inside a Carvana Car Vending Machine are usually already sold to customers that will be coming to pick up their vehicles. However, we’d be happy to help you find a similar vehicle on our website that you can pick up at the Car Vending Machine during your appointment!

I like being able to search for cars without being harassed by sales people and also being able to get a general quote for trade in. I have purchased and traded in vehicles twice with Carvana. Unfortunately both times I was t able to use the car vending machine. Also, with my recent purchases there was literally a part missing in my interior that has to be ordered and I will ha e to go to a outsourced service center to get it fixed, which is time consuming.

I had a great experience processing all my paperwork on trade-ins and purchasing another car in Carvana. The staffs were pretty good at answering my concerns and questions, just wished the attentiveness was better. experienced at the Frisco,TX location - Vending Machine was not working - No drinks were offered on the hottest day (106 degrees) - I'm a repeat customer and was not given anything specials (not even a car freshener, cups or anything) - I had to remove my own license plates/registration It would've been excellent if they had provided some special customer service, especially when the staffs are there to better assist you. To improve, have the advocate do a walk around the car with you to identify and demonstrate the features in the car.

The process started out good but went downhill. Finding the car was the easy part (great Selection). Once I found my car I stated the paperwork, with the help of online agents and phone calls. Got my financing through my credit union. With the paperwork done insurance verified and financing secured I thought all was well, not so. I went onto my Carvana dashboard where they show you things you need to complete, before final pickup. I saw Financing was highlighted as needing to be done. I called Carvana and they walked me through the steps to setup Plaid (a system they use which connects to your financial institution and verifies the funds and then on the day of pickup withdraws the down-payment). With an agent from Carvana on the phone, we then 3 way called my credit Union, spoke with a rep there and again verified the funds. Finished, or so I thought. The day before delivery I get a text saying the car has been delayed (coming from Arizona). Knowing the trucking industry is tight right now, no big deal (not their fault). A week later I go down to pickup my car from the big vending machine. Guess what, its broken. Again, not their fault, things happen, but in hindsight I would recommend getting the car delivered to your door. Sign the paperwork, hand over a certified check from my credit union for the balance of the car. Done in under 10 mins (nice). Done, NOPE. Gentleman hands me the key and notices their is only one. He puts in a work order for a second key through SilverRock (their 3rd party which handles claims). Drive off and realize I have less than a half tank of gas. I would have believed they would have at least given me a FULL tank. Not a huge deal as the car is a 2022 Honda Hybrid (which I will say is averaging 60mpg). Now after a WEEK of having the car I'm getting texts and phone calls saying my down payment wasn't taken out of my account by Plaid (their Secure system, with funds VERIFIED, TWICE). Unfortunately they Do NOT have a finance dept. you can talk to directly to find out what went wrong. They are now saying i need to send a certified check (which costs money) or put the down payment on a credit Card. How is this my FAULT, the funds are their, just go in and pluck it out. They say they can't, with NO Explanation. As I'm writing this we are still working on getting the funds to them. What started out as an EASY process has turned into a pain. I would recommend them to a friend, but with a word of CAUTION.

From picking the car out online to going to the car vending machine to pick it up was such a breeze. The only hiccup was registering the car. I was not informed beforehand that my state does not directly mail the license plates out. After making a couple of phone calls I found out from Carvana that I had to go directly to the DMV where they would be ready for pick-up. As I already mentioned I had not been informed beforehand. Otherwise it was a fantastic experience and I'd definitely do it again!

It was super simple to finance and purchase. My only complaint was delivery. It was delayed, then no one showed up at delivery time. I had to call customer service multiple times to see what was going on. Like the title, it was stupidly easy. None of the crazy you get from the standard car lot, vultures around a dead carcass trying to take all your monies. Choosing a car was the hardest part of the process. The financing was simple and painless. I even got a trade-in for my Aveo with 290,000 miles on it. The only glitch was having to drive to the vending machine to pick up my car. However, I did get to get my car from the vending machine, so kudos for that! The registration was transferred 2 weeks earlier than the anticipated date as well. Extremely happy with Carvana and the vehicle!!

I had a few hiccups in the beginning of my Carvana experience due to some things being mid-labeled on the listing for the vehicle I was interested in. The customer service associate, Allison, that I worked with was amazing helpful and was more than willing to follow-up and guide me through the process as necessary. I am very grateful that I had Allison to assist me, she was helpful and cheerful throughout the whole thing. Will, the Carvana employee who helped me with picking up my vehicle from the Carvana vending machine, was also extremely helpful and kind. Overall a great experience!
