2017 MAZDA MX-5 Miata RF
My Toyota mr2 engine locked up and I needed a car right away during the worst time to buy a used car in history. I was skeptical because I really havent looked into buying a car in 15 years. I looked around Richmond, va and there really wasn't any cars that I fancied even went to the car max dealership nothing stood out to me.so I just googled cars for a few days I like 2 seat convertibles I decided I wanted a Mazda mx5 miata 2016 and newer. Fell in love with how the retractable roof looked. With the top up because alot of soft top convertibles loose their coolness with the top up.so I looked into carvana to my surprise they had 30 to choose from carmax website had 4. So I chose my color picked the lower mileage of the 2 I liked put in request and bam the ball began rolling. Every time I thought I would run into a snag carvana just made it simple.got car sent from Arkansas no front liscense plat caravan sent someone to my house and installed the bracket.panel beside window had sticker residue that wouldn't come off carvann authorized me to have it replaced at no cost to me.sending my insurance and drivers liscense to them was a snap. My parents were worried about not seeing a car first but if I wanted I can return a car twice,but the car that was delivered was nicer than I ever imagined it looked brand new and not 5 years old. Sorry my review is so long but I am overly blown away of how I bought a car just laying in bed. This was my 1st experience buying completely online. The experience was so easy and I can see this as being the way of the future. All of my questions were answered super fast by utilizing the chat option online. The only complaint I have was that the day before I was supposed to pick up my Chevy Colorado from the new Richmond Va vending machine I stopped by to take a quick peek. I was spotted quickly by one of the employees as it was closing time but he noticed me looking at it outside in the parking lot. The gentleman was super friendly and shared my excitement of getting a new vehicle. The only question I had for him was "will the truck be in the vending machine tomorrow for pickup"? He went over every step that the truck would receive before I took ownership the next day from the state inspection down to the wash, wax and detailing. I was excited and couldn't wait for the following day. The next day came and I received the call that the truck was ready for pickup. I jumped into my car and headed that way and couldn't wait to see the truck glowing in the machine. As I approached, I didnt see it and got worried. I was so excited that I was doing a video VLOG on my experience. When I finally pulled into the parking lot the truck was out front and not in the vending machine. This was kind of a letdown as I had watched tons of others videos on their pickup day and wanted to share mine. The truck was beautiful and did have a huge bow on it so it did make it a little special. The employees told me the truck was a few inches too big to fit into the machine so they did the best they could. I dont understand how a midsize truck that is stock, could be too big. I didnt question it and continued the process. I explained to them how disappointed I was with not seeing the truck come down so they did allow me to lower a newer corvetter to experience it. I did enjoy it but it wasn't the same. Overall everyone did go out of their way and were super friendly.

Yes indeed the whole process was very easy and stress free. I love the car and the 100 day warranty is awesome. They are installing a license plate bracket because I live in the state of VA and doing some other stuff, at no cost to me. This is great!!!!

2018 Ford F-150
Some things were straightforward; others, not so much. All of the coordination prior to delivery day went smooth. The 'promised' delivery didn't happen due to staffing and I didn't find out until 30 min prior to the scheduled delivery time. Carvana paid for an Uber, but the trip to the delivery point and back took 45 mins each way plus test drive and processing time. I had planned to depart out of state the day of delivery so was late getting on the road. While away, I was informed that the 'we will handle the entire registration process' situation wasn't being handled as Carvana failed to obtain the required VA emissions testing. So then started the daily (sometimes multiple times a day) texts and emails about missing documents. Well, since it's difficult to get a VA inspection when not in VA, I was unable to get the documentation for almost two weeks after pick-up. By that time, having received multiple notifications, I had called Carvana to explain the situation and was told that VA offers a temp tag extension (no mention of this was volunteered by Carvana until I called) to the issued GA temp tags the vehicle arrived with. Eventually Carvana issued a 24-hr notification of legal action (the day my emissions test results were submitted) etc. In my opinion, when they said they would take care of the registration that meant they would obtain all the required inspections as well, which did not happen. I have requested to be reimbursed for the inspection cost but haven't yet seen the funds returned. Carvana also states they will return any overage for title/registration costs but I won't know whether that's true until they provide the itemized costs compared to what they charged and any difference is returned.
I also do not have the factory-set keyless door lock code to initialize my own personal code. I feel Carvana should have provided the code as part of the resale vs making me have to go to a Ford dealer to get it afterward. Maybe it's a security thing, but if that's the case, they could provide it once the sale is final.
The vehicle was clean upon pick-up, they gave it to me for a test drive without any issues, and the processing was fairly straightforward. The paperwork had missing annotations that I commented on when asked to sign an incomplete form; I feel Carvana can easily update their process to not have blank information on legal documents (insurance provider, garaged location, etc) before asking their customers for a signature.
The vehicle was as advertised, included the fuel funnel and owners manual, and has been trouble free since I took possession. Overall, not a bad experience with Carvana, I just feel like they can up their game a bit by paying a little more attention to the customer service details that would make the process a little nicer.

The process was easy up until delivery time. The original delivery date was changed the day of because of transportation shortages, pushing it back 2 weeks from when I was supposed to receive the car. New delivery date rolls around and it was delayed again because the car failed va state inspection the day of delivery. The local office was able to work with me and I picked up the car myself to avoid another transportation delay.

The delivery delays are not cool at all. They tried to delay mine twice, a week every time, I ended up picking it up because it was 2 hours away, and I wasn't going to wait a week for it. The lack of communication between agents on the phone is pure hell at times. One even canceled my order with her attitude, luckily I saw it and was able to get my car right back before someone else did. The local location though, in Petersburg, VA, were amazing. They worked to get my car to me asap. When I picked it up, there were a good amount of scratches and bumper damage that was not disclosed, but the agent took all the pictures and advised me on getting it taken care of. When I got the quote, it was $2600 in repairs and he was not sure they would approve it, but they did! I also took it to a Mazda dealership who did a solid look over mechanically that was also covered by the Silver Rock warranty. Mechanically it is sound, so aside from some blemishes I was sold a very solid vehicle, and the blemishes will be handled as well with no cost to me. Impressive, really. If it wasn't for the constant delivery delays and the wishy washy phone agents, I would give them 5 stars, but customer service is a big deal especially when dealing with tens of thousands of dollars.

Could not find the vehicle I wanted anywhere near me. So I did a search for the car and found one like I was looking for on Carvana. It was in New Jersey (I'm in VA) and it said it could be shipped for free. My sister had previously purchased her Jeep with Carvana and confirmed it was easy to do. So, I did it! No regrets.

2009 Mercedes-Benz CLK
I've been eyeing a convertible (Mercedes or BMW) for weekend driving as a diversion from the COVID craze. I never seriously considered Carvana, altho they consistently pop up in my car search -- until I wasted time driving to dealerships twice (72 miles away and 45 miles away); both looked good on paper, but were total flops in person.
A 2009 Mercedes CLK 550 convertible showed up from Carvana with a decent price tag, and that's when I looked into what they offered: 7-day no-questions-asked return policy + 100 day warranty and no 'dealership fees'. The car "looked good on paper" and they delivered, so "Why not?".
The car arrived on time as promised. Disappointingly (at first), the rear tires were worn, but no biggie since I wanted to buy wider tires anyway ... until the car didn't pass VA state safety inspection. Get this...Carvana's warranty company (SilverRock) covered 2 new tires AND AN ALIGNMENT!!. That's not all, the convertible seemed to stick at day 4, and SilverRock authorized diagnostics at a MB dealership and approved for payment the necessary adjustments...and Carvana extended my 7-day test drive an additional 2 days. Today is day 9 and, needless to say, I will not be returning the CLK. It looked good on paper and looks/drives awesome in person. (I'm sure I would have had an entirely different experience had I bought from a dealership)
I was apprehensive contacting Carvana and buying a car unseen, but their return and warranty policies made the 'risk' worth taking ... and I am so glad I did!!! If you're in the market for a car, you have to at least consider Carvana. (Note that the cars I looked at got snatched quickly, so don't think about it too long once you find one)

2017 Chevrolet Equinox
This is definitely the best car buying experience I've had. This is the 4th vehicle I've purchased from a dealer and it was by far the smoothest experience of the 4. Found the SUV we my wife wanted, did the majority of the paperwork online including a trade in. I had to change the delivery date twice because of confict on my end (had no trouble changing the dates/time), the delivery was fantastic! Our Rep, LaQuisha Goodman from the VA Beach location was outstanding! She was so kind and helpful and made the whole experience 10x better. I can't say enough good things about her. She was so great with the social distancing too during this COVID19 time period. LaQuisha is definitely the reason I'm giving Carvana 5 stars instead of 4. She went that extra mile to make sure we had a great experience.

2013 Toyota Corolla
I needed a car and wasn't looking forward to dealerships. I checked out the Carvana site, was quickly preapproved, and saved some cars I liked. Admittedly, I was still skeptical and in the meantime I checked into a local dealership as well. I left the local dealership pretty annoyed because of their lack of transparency. No details on my financing, how much I was approved for, interest rate, payment, nothing. Not even a ball park, yet you want me to test drive cars? No thanks. So I got back on Carvana's site figuring with a 7 day return policy, what do I have to lose? After some deliberating, I chose my car- a 2013 Toyota Corolla with only 17k miles- and completed the simple checkout process. Even after the hard credit pull, my terms didn't change. (And truth be told my credit is bad.) I still can't believe how easy it was. The only further step I had to take was calling a Carvana advocate so they could 3 way call my bank to verify my down payment funds were available. I received my car on the day I had chosen. The driver called me at 2pm, which was my scheduled time, and said he was running a little late but would be here in about 20 minutes. No big deal, my area is notorious for bad traffic so totally understandable. He got here and unloaded the car and gave me time to drive it and look it over with no pressure at all. I was super appreciative when I noticed that they had my state inspection and oil changed performed that morning before bringing me the car. I thought I'd have to do the VA state inspection myself but they saved me a step! The driver was friendly and went over everything with the paperwork and the process to make a cosmetic claim. I found damage to the rear window seal but he went ahead and took photos and initiated the claim for me. All I had to do was choose a repair shop to provide an estimate. I had a Toyota dealership inspect the car and they found no mechanical issues at all so I decided that I would keep the car for sure. Everyone I have spoken to at Carvana has been nice and super helpful. I love the convenience of the app to make my payments and monitor how much time is remaining of my warranty. I don't think I'll buy a car anywhere else from now on. I was skeptical, but now I'm a believer. Even my husband thinks Carvana is great and he was super skeptical haha. I just wish the vending machine was a little closer, because that seems like it would be a cool experience. And I wish I had gotten some cool Carvana swag with my car like I've read about online, but oh well maybe next time! Thank you Carvana, for making the car buying experience fun and easy.
