Your typical buying process at a brick and mortar dealer is someone trying to up sell you on everything, make you wait at a desk while they're off "trying to talk to the manager to get you a better deal". Then they come back and ask you to sign a purchase agreement, they go back for more haggling. You finally settle on price and go through financing only to find out your required to buy a $600 "protection package that protects the exterior and interior", then they hit you with a $600 dealer fee, $99 admin fee, $200 finance fee. Next thing you know have $1,500 on top of the agreed to price.
Now Carvana!!! Now dealer fee's, no haggles, no up-selling or up-charging. You do your research on what you want, find it on Carvana and they deliver it for you or you go and pick it up. It literally took me 7 minutes on the website to fill out everything, give my deposit and sign my documents on day one at about 6:30pm. Day 2 at 8:00am Carvana called me with finance details for few minutes to review everything. Day 2 at 10:30am I had my loan documents in Docusign that took me a few minutes to review and sign. ( I went with my own credit union that was partners with Carvana, I was pre-approved. So, your finance process may differ from mine.) Day 3 at 9:45am I took delivery at the Carvana vending machine in Kansas City.
At the vending machine you show your license and proof of insurance, they give you a coin and you put it in the machine, the car comes down the elevator and spins around. It slides out of the machine. The attendant drives your car out, she walks you through the car and asks if you have any questions. You take a test drive, go back inside and fill out a couple forms, temporary license plate form, odometer disclosure and the purchase agreement I believe. They asked me if I wanted a bottle of water and gave me a bottle of Fiji water. I thought that was icing on the cake. Who does that? Carvana!
I get a new car every 2 years. I love cars and like to always have something cool and different. I have dealt with many dealerships in my lifetime. Carvana is by far the best experience I have ever had. If you have questions they are there to answer them. If you don't like your car after you pick it up, you can take it back and try something else up to 3 times. They give you a week to try out your new car and up to 400miles. If you go over that they charge you a per mile fee. However, you're never stuck with it if you don't like it.
Why would you buy from anyone other then Carvana? You shouldn't. Don't pay extra fees, dealer fees or up charges.
