Very easy purchase on Carvana website, picked the car, paid for the car, easy. Updating insurance took a bit of time with agent on phone (cause NC is particular). When it came time to virtually notarize paperwork, it became a chore. Either paperwork wasn't uploaded clearly "like someone threw it on the ground and took a pic" or "oh, we are in FL and can't notarize NC paperwork" or, the best one, "is one of these phone numbers associated with you 26 years ago?" BTW you only have 2 minutes to get it right. Good luck! Took days to get correct answers to finally be able to motorize paperwork. That process could have been better, especially since we paid cash and weren't financing.

I picked up my 2010 Camaro in Tempe, AZ, but it originally came from Florida. The auto body shop Carvana used in FL did a terrible job of re-spraying the front bumper; there were nickel sized bubbles in the paint and over-spray on the grill. I called Carvana, and huge kudos to Sophia at the Tempe Carvana office for sending me right over to a local body shop to fix it within the 7 day period. 1st Class Auto Body in Scottsdale did an amazing job, but unfortunately, this took a week, and that meant I didn't have the full 7 day period to get to know the car enough to make a decision on returning it or not. Upon my first drive in traffic, the car over-heated; a quick check of the coolant level revealed it was over two quarts low on coolant! I purchased the proper coolant and topped it off, and that fixed the overheating. I'm just surprised this extremely low coolant level wasn't discovered during Carvana's inspection process. Also of note, there was a bunch of hand written mechanic's notes in the glove-box from Carvana's inspection process (I don't think they meant to leave them in there). I did find them useful, as it mentioned some of the repairs/replaced parts, but it also had a note that said, "diagnose active oil leak," but there was nothing written down about what the cause was, whether it was repaired, etc. I haven't noticed a leak, but I must say those notes have stressed me out a bit now. Other than the shoddy 3rd party paint work, the mysterious mechanic's notes, and the over-heating-low coolant level, I actually love the car. the app and financing process was fairly painless, I just wish they would give you the option of setting up auto pay later, and not making it a condition in the beginning, in order to lock in the lower financing rate.

The car was very nice and exactly what the photos showed. However we did discover that the engine cover was loose and I had to attach it. The other issue was the delivery. We lived in a rural area in Western Colorado and Carvana could provide me with a reasonable delivery date. Eventually I had to meet them 2 hours away to guarantee a date but then that was postponed another 4 days. So that was very frustrating since we told them we were moving to FL and need the vehicle as soon as possible.

From start to finish. Absolutely perfect. Car shop from my phone. Approved easily even though my credit sucks. Went to a dealer just to compare. Same car was 5k more!! Customer service very helpful. It was a birthday surprise for my son so when we picked up in Orlando FL the young ladies were helpful and excited to help us celebrate! They put a bow and balloon. More than I could ask for. They made my dream come true for my son 21st bday. Cannot wait to buy my next car!!

Generally stress free process, online time saving. However, delivery date confirmed online as Monday 4/19, 10:30 AM; got to site, car was there but told delivery was scheduled for Wednesday, 4/21. So, took up to two hours to prep car and paperwork, had to correct registration address twice on all paperwork as final miscue (had emailed ahead of time with change of address, first set picked up primary home address in Hinsdale IL(purchased car there in Feb. 2020); second set picked up Punta Gorda FL address from current registration card on trade-in; third set finally got it correct (St Augustine FL as notified in purchase online)

I paid a fair price and got a bit more than expected for my trade, but the real benefit was not having to leave my house! Not having to go through usual painful dealer experience was a joy. Only hassle was waiting for hard-copy FL title, which Carvana requires before finalizing a sale. Otherwise fantastic!!

Using Carvana was definitely easy, and convenient. My only critique is because i live in the panhandle of FL i am technically not (local) so finding a carrier for my vehicle took longer than expected. The closest car vending machine was almost 4 hours away so pickup wasn't an option. That is the only reason for 4 stars. The communication was great except on text feature it took sometimes a day or 2 to get a response from the team that way. Other than that, my vehicle is beautiful and better than i expected... i would totally use Carvana again!

Carvana has the simplest, fastest and efficient way to buy a car. Their website was easy to use. Looked for my vehicle and put in on hold. Once the inspection and photos were displayed I obtained financing and ordered the car. Four days later picked it up at their vending machine store in Miami, Fl. The purchase was quick and easy and it only took 30 minutes. After a week decided to keep the car even though it needed an oil change, air filters and a drive belt. Waiting for the new tag. Recommend Carvana as the new way to buy a car.

Scheduled for 2 pm. Showed up four hours early and was taken care right away. Good thing too because I had to drive back to Pensacola, FL from Birmingham, AL to load up my RV and evacuate from Hurricane Sally that same night.

I drove 3 hours each way to a Chrysler dealership 3 weeks ago to look at an SUV priced about $350 below blue book value. At the dealership, I learned of hidden charges, a DOC fee of $699 and a protection package for $1,295 that they "put on all our used cars". Together, these two charges totaled $1,994 additional for the vehicle, resulting in a sales price much higher than advertised. The next day I visited a Chrysler dealer in Crestview, FL and they were adding the same two charges to the vehicles. I work many years ago at a GM car dealership in the accounting dept. and at that time a DOC fee of $50 was charged on all deals. Dealerships will tell you the DOC fee covers the overhead of providing the showroom, but what other businesses charge such fees and why have those fees escalated to nearly $1K? When we buy groceries, do we pay a DOC fee to cover overhead? Certainly not. A friend recommend CARVANA. While I was skeptical at first, I regained my enthusiasm for car-buying when I learned Carvana doesn't add fees other than tax, tag and title. The first vehicle I considered buying from Carvana had no shipping charge if I picked up the vehicle at a 'vending machine' in Birmingham, AL (4 hour drive). My second choice was an SUV that I bought came from TX and I paid a shipping fee of $599. That fee makes sense to me because I understand there is, in fact, a direct cost to ship a vehicle from TX to FL. New cars always have a shipping fee included. Carvana representatives that I spoke with on the phone were noticeably intelligent. I enjoyed working with them. Each of them were able to answer questions, When I received delivery of my SUV, I was able to test drive it and look it over before signing the purchase contract. I drove it away and had 7 days to drive it and return it if I didn't like it for whatever reason. Carvana provided an extended warranty for 4,000 miles or 100 days, whichever comes first; I think that's very nice. Carvana doesn't sell vehicles that have been reported as being in an accident. Very well pleased with my car purchase, all the way around.
