Placing a car in an online cart. Cool. Buying said car... Alright. Getting paperwork squared away... Way messier than a dealer. Car unfortunately delayed 3 weeks. Delivery day, overall easy. Down payment info incorrect. Took about 30-45 MI utes to get addressed. Car itself, so far so good.
3 out of 5. Dealers are stressful to deal with, but once you buy, paperwork is a breeze. Carvana not so much in my experience. But I might be an idiot. Who knows.

The website car reviewing and purchasing process was incredibly simple. Plenty of information about car features and specs. Pay special attention to color!
The pre-delivery process was a bit annoying, with multiple texts/e-mails for insurance verification and driver's license proof, even after providing these documents! That was a bit much. Also, the recommendation that insurance for the vehicle can be started on the day of delivery is a bit of falsehood because Carvana requires insurance several days before the car is even hauled to your intended destination (in MI at least)! Or your order will not be held..... this needs to be communicates consistently.
The delivery process was mostly a great experience. The driver was excellent, with professionalism and care. Scuffs and any deficient items of the exterior and interior were discussed. Though I am uncertain what will be done about them..... the vehicle was delivered with a DANGEROUSLY LOW ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL which I was fortunate enough to catch after the truckbed driver left. This is unacceptable and the engine coolant purchase I made should be reimbursed or credited. The wiper blades were old as well.

2020 Ford F-150
Quite a bit of on line work, but much better than wasting time in a dealership. Also, the seven day return is a bonus, as is the 100 day - 4000 mi. Carvana warranty which will fix or replace anything that should go wrong during that period. Don't be afraid to give these guys a shot, my experience went very smoothly.

2018 X5 26K mi. Car as described. Great customer service. Delivery was delayed from initial date but this was communicated. Check engine light came on week of delivery for a faulty battery sensor. They opened a claim immediately. Took it to BMW and it was covered under warrantee. Great car, great purchase.

I appreciated how easy it was to shop for the car features that I wanted. Leather seats, heated seats, parking assist, sunroof, heads up display, all of it was easy peasy. Putting the token in and watching my car come down the vending machine was exciting too. The staff at Novi, MI location were the best!

2014 MINI Roadster
Although most of the communication was texts, chat and emails, every advocate was knowledgable, friendly and not 1 time rude or pushy. After delivery, we had a couple minor things that Carvana stood behind their warranty and fixed. No pressure or fight. The 150 point check, Carfax, and 360 view (showing imperfections) helped us know exactly what we were getting. The car my wife wanted was rarely found within a 500 mi radius of our home. Without Carvanas nationwide centers and ability to ship gave her the car of her dreams! Not to mention the touchless front door delivery was phenominal!!

2016 Ford F-150
First truck a 2017 Toyota Tacoma 8k mi. would not start after less than 36 hours . We replaced the battery and the next day it wouldn't start again. I then selected another truck a 2016 ford f150 xlt 20k mi. at a similar cost .carvana arranged for the pick up of the Toyota Tacoma and arranged delivery of my new ford. Not an ideal situation but the fault may lie more with Toyota then with carvana. Overall I will use carvana in the future for another vehicle purchase. The f150 is a great vehicle and exceeds expectations.

My father thought I was nuts since we had always gone to dealerships for cars. The process was seamless. I picked out the car (did some test drives locally first), got financed, and signed all the paperwork online. The car arrived the day after we moved in, and the delivery driver was awesome. I'd highly recommend Carvana to anyone who is busy and just needs a car quickly and easily.
