2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek
Everything was great... From finding exactly what I wanted, the color, the miles, the financing,,, opted for the VENDING MACHINE Woohoo instead of just delivery. Thought it would be fun for the whole family. So the day comes. We get to the Frisco TX CarVANA Vending Machine... And we are about 15 min early. All of a sudden my, or a car just like mine, pulls up and a Big Sweaty lady in shorts and black tank top get out of it, not even wiping the leather seats off. I said to my wife, "That better not be my car"... 15 min goes by and I go inside. I said "is that my car out front" he said "are you Gilbert" I said "yes I am" he says "yes that yours let me get the keys so you can take it for a test drive." I said "I just spent the last 3 hours with the family on our way here to have fun and get a new car, we aren't doing the Vending Machine" he said "No sir it's been broken since last Tuesday". "And No one bothered to call me and let me know... Why"? I mean, I got kids out of bed at 7am...w all went and got breakfast, picked another kid up on the way, it was a big deal to me. I was going to just have it delivered but changed my option to the Vending matching so we could have fun as a family. So why didn't anyone call Me and let me know like... "Mr. Gardiner, our machine is down at the moment, would you still like to come get your car as scheduled, or would you like to be notified when it's operational so you can get it through our vending machine?
Which is probably a big draw for people wanting to come get a car is the fun of that added feature.
So, for that I was extremely disappointed. The liking of the car I had purchased was overshadowed by everything I had been through to make that happen that morning and to then be told.. "OH, it's broken".
So i really didn't get the whole experience, just another car payment I feel like. Don't get me wrong.. It's a great car, I like it, but I could have bought it anywhere and picked it up sitting in front of the building.
My friends and co-workers also disappointed when I told them what happened because we were going to show them video of it. Some were even interested in buying from CarVANA after I told them how easy it was. I'm sure it was broken, but almost feels like just another Gimmic to get the customer in like any other dealership. Although, my buying experience was sooo much better than a dealership.
But soooooo WAYYYYY disappointed!!!

2019 Dodge Durango
The process was pretty easy, I liked being able to communicate through chat/text and didn't have to spend hours in a dealership. Car was in great condition as it showed on the site. Had a few hiccups with signing papers due to third party financing, as Carvana does not offer co-applicant financing currently and we had to redo some signatures as they didn't have my husband on the correct documents originally. All in all, great experience. Very friendly reps.

I've done lots of research... First, on different places from which to purchase a new-to-me vehicle, then on various types of vehicles. Once I decided upon Carvana, everything was a breeze. I finally chose the kind of vehicle I wanted, applied for financing, was approved and everything afterwards was also smooth-sailing. The only bump in the road was a delivery delay. For me however, as I don't believe in "coincidences", that 1st delay worked to my advantage. I searched other vehicles of the type I wanted and found a newer model w/much better ratings all over the web, less miles on it and more bells and whistles. I was to discover that switching my purchase to a different vehicle was also super easy. There was a delivery delay w/that vehicle as well however, I don't expect The Universe to revolve around me, so I was okay w/that. A little stressed, a little inconvenient as my current vehicle was suffering major issues and I commute almost an hr away. However and again, I accept what is, rather than lament what isn't. In this Covid era, many are short-staffed, etc., so I get it. Finally, my new-to-me vehicle arrived and I am THRILLED! I have co-workers who are driving vehicles also from Carvana and they too sing your praises. So yes, right this minute, one wk and one day after receiving my vehicle, I remain super happy, super grateful that Carvana exists. Every single Carvana Rep that I have dealt w/has been pleasant, professional, helpful and super friendly. Thanks for adding joy to my life via my new ride Carvana and I pray the experience remains a positive one for many years to come! =D

Never knew there would ever be an experience like this purchasing my first vehicle without having the need of a co-signer or anything! Love my new vehicle and definitely would recommend Carvana to anyone!!

This is my second Carvana purchase. The last one was easy and this one was even easier. Everything from selection and financing terms online was easy. I was co tacted quickly for any additional I found needed. I chose to pick up from a vendi g machine. What a great novelty that is. I am very pleased with the car and the service both time. I do NOT miss traditional dealerships and haggling at all. Thanks CARVANA.

Honestly, this should be a 4.5 out of 5, but I cannot score that way.
The only two issues I had were that Carvana financing does not offer co-signer options, which was disappointing and that the vehicle was delivered without having had a full engine check. Engine light was on when delivered. The oil had to be changed, fluids topped off and Vehicle Service updated in the menu. Vehicle was running fine, but these should have been completed prior to delivery, and since the warranty does not cover "expendables" like oil changes, etc... This was an out-of-pocket expense that should not have happened.

I wanted to wait to write my review u til the entire process was completed so that I could give a fair and accurate review. I purchased my car the beginning of March, I had my delivery set up for the following Saturday. I got my message that my car was in its way and the morning of I got a message from my delivery guy that he was on his way! My appointment was set for 9am and he was here by 9:20am, the car was completely clean inside and out and looked exactly like it did on the website. I took my 15 min test drive and in the meantime he had loaded my trade-in and all I had to do was sign a couple of papers. I would however recommend that if you purchase a manual car a delivery person familiar with that transmission should deliver. I have never owned or driven a 6 speed so I had no idea you were supposed to push the gear shifter down before sliding over and up into reverse, I asked my delivery guy and he had no idea either. I had to do some google research I order to learn that information. The only issue I had that day was because my trade was financed and my dad had co-signed he was supposed to be present, but because I had done my do diligence and asked several times if he had to be present since the registration said or and I was told no he did not have to be, they were nice enough to send him the paperwork and let him sign it as he lived in another state. Carvana's rule is if the car is financed even if the Registration says or both owners have to be present. I had one issue with the car in my 7 day trial, the battery needed to be replaced and in my opinion that should have been caught in the 150-point inspection and they agreed so I am currently waiting on my reimbursement check which they said could take up to 90 days, which does seem a little excessive but as long as I get it I'll be happy. Yesterday I received my registration and that was my only other concern based on some reviews I had read. My trade was also paid off within 3 days of my 7 day trial ending.
My total car buying experience with Carvana took 3 weeks total including getting my registration! I will say buying a car sight unseen was a little nerve racking but to be honest, this was a much easier and a less time consuming way to buy a car than I have ever experienced going to a car dealership and honestly Carvana gave me WAY more for my trade than I ever expected and that's why I bought my new to me car!

The drop off experience was great however.. there were a few minor and major damages that were not in the photos. I'm still working with the 3rd party service to get those things repaired, but the process isn't super simple and there are co-pays that the purchaser are forced to pay for things the seller should be handling.

2018 Nissan Sentra
Everyone is so awesome & professional to speak to & work with @ Carvana. Our car was ready on Saturday morning clean and warmed up for us, it was 20'ish that Saturday morning. Carvana made it super easy to do business. We traded in & purchased a car. I have 4 co-workers who have now purchased cars from Carvana to date.
