This was really easy…. I was a bit worried buying a car on line but this worked out great! First of all I owned the same car for 5 years previously and I needy another commuter car for work. It was a great surprise when the ca showed at my door, meaning it was clean,waxed,detailed and all that carvana said the condition of this vehicle was. I'm very happy with my purchase from buying to delivery, this car runs great. Thank you, Mike Johnson

I got my car for work as a uber driver. Great car so far but there's one big problem with the paper work. They give you a Georgia temporary plate/registration. If you're in any other state besides GA then this is a problem. I'm past the 7 day trial but the car is still currently parked on the side of the road until I get permanent CA plates. If this was my only car I would be out of a job because of this. There is no solution around this problem. I tried and paid for the registration out of pocket and got a TOP from CA and it's not a qualified document. Carvana doesn't offer any accommodations for a solution for this problem either. If you're an uber driver and this is going to be your only primary car maybe look elsewhere. Otherwise this is a great and easy solution for purchasing a car. Funny thing, I bought a car 2 years ago and returned it. It was a total nightmare situation. They're lucky I came back and they still managed to botch this. I love the car but this will be my last time purchasing from them.

I had a horrible experience with the remote customer service providers of Carvana it took 3 delivery cancelations and over a month to finally get my car. But when I was finally able to show up to get my car John went over and beyond to make sure the final process went smooth. I was very pleased with him he also had to assist new employees that were still having glitches just getting in the building but he never lost focus on wanting to get me on my way . I highly recommend the Ontario Ca. location to any one.

I really did not understand the process of getting a car online, and like most people thought there was a catch somewhere, and a "SHADY" salesman lurking in the background. CARVANA absolutely blew me away with way over the top performance and service. The CHAT people are friendly and down to earth. There are several things I want to say about Ca Carvana, Honest, Decent people with no agenda, and their goal is to make sure you are Happy with your NEW car, and then tell your friends and family about your experience! I am not so pleased with their partner company (Silver Rock), which did take a long time to send a mobile repair man. They wanted me find a facility that would do a chipped paint repair at my location. In other words....they want me to do the work. Not Impressed! Carvana on the other hand is such a big surprise and a much more pleasant alternative to going to the local car dealership. No shady salesmen, YOU name your terms, their mechanics do a full 150 point inspection, and your car is photographed and the scratches, dents, and dings are (highlighted) so that you can get a heads up before you consider buying! If you choose Carvana as we did, In my opinion....YOU BE BLOWN AWAY by the Professionalism they portray. Our Delivery driver JOHN, was clean, courteous and had talked to us about exactly what we needed to have before he signed the car over to us. He is a decent fellow and a Very Good Example of the Quality of staff they have at Carvana! Please consider these people first, before going to the local dealership. You can do the research as we did and also shop with the dealers along side of Carvana. One thing also sticks out in dealing with local dealers..... they constantly call you and leave a mess of e-mails wanting you to come to their lot and see their latest pick for you. We really got irritated in dealing with the push sales people!!! Carvana....look....point....click....Oh and they have an AI named Sebastian. Send a Thank you to the AI and be kind. This AI has a personality, and he does his best to help. It is a good practice to say Please, and Thank You, so spread it around!

This was the car we wanted at the low mileage we wanted, but most people in Carvana did not know how to effect the transaction. We were told the car was in Westminster, CA, 600 miles away from us in Ashland, OR, and we would have to drive our trade-in down there. Then we were told we could do the trade-in and pick up the new car in Sacramento, CA, only 200 miles away. But then we were told Carvansa could deliver the new car to Ashland and pick up our trade-in. Great! But then we were told, no, they couldn't pick up the trade-in, so we would have to come to Sacramento after all. But then we were told that no, we couldn't pick the car up in Sacramento because we are Oregon residents and there would be a CA sales tax. So we drove our trade-in plus another car to Winters (near Sacramento), gave the trade-in to Carvana, and drove back to Ashland to wait for the new car. After a few days I called to see when the car might arrive, and was told it probably would be Sunday March 7 or Monday March 8, but Carvana couldn't get hold of the transport company to be sure.. On Saturday March 6 I called the driver to see if it would be Sunday or Monday, and he said he was 20 minutes away! We got the car and are happy with it. The second key fob is loose in the car somewhere, so anyone can start the car and drive away. We keep it locked and have searched thoroughly for the key with no success. The first key fob is missing the physical emergency key, which Carvana has agreed to cover under the warranty. Thank you. We financed the car with Carvana and got a call from Bridgecrest asking for our bank details. We never heard of them and assumed it was a scam call. Turns out they are the loan servicing agent - would have been good to know.

I purchased my car on 4/12 to be delivered on 4/22. On 4/18 my purchase and delivery date got lost in the system and I spent over an hour with c/s locking in my purchase and new delivery date 4/29. For my inconvenience I was promised $250 compensation once I completed the 7 day trial period. On 4/29, I was called and told that there was a problem with the emissions test and got a new delivery date of 5/6. After 2 hours on the phone with c/s AGAIN I was offered an additional $150 for my troubles. When they called on 5/6 to push it back I lost my mind. The emissions test was still not passing and I screamed that they had 7 f-ing days to fix it and this was unacceptable. I demanded to speak with a manager and finally.got some results. Daniel at the Ontario, CA location assured me that he would send the car out to an outside facility to be smogged and if all went well he would arrange a special delivery on Saturday or Sunday for me. True to his word, he called me the next day and said that I was getting my car the next morning. To sum up, it took 24 days to get my vehicle and all I got for all the inconveniences and headaches was a measly $400 off the price (which has yet to arrive) and a severe case if laryngitis from all the yelling

Shoot - looks like I won't have enough space to detail the myriad of ways that Carvana needs to improve. If you truly want feedback, then don't limit our review space. #1 spell check - "lien holder" not "leon holder" - twice! #2 become a legit CA used car seller - you wasted a couple hours of my 3rd party lender's time as you are sadly still using your GA seller license to transact in CA #3 integrate better with 3rd party lenders, or is the goal to anger/annoy other lenders so much that people will use your (100-150 basis points higher) in-house lending option? #4 don't list an item on your 150 point checklist that you aren't upholding (which will now cost me ~$600) - and offer nothing when brought to your attention, multiple times #5 rebuild your website to recognize that people often buy vehicles as a Joint buyer situation (husband/wife), and don't just pass off a spouse to a contract "Addendum" which was a nightmare for our lender to get past the underwriter #6 your unnecessary 11-day delivery delay resulted in receiving the vehicle now just past the original dealer warranty window - a fact you knew and shrugged off - so now I don't get to have the dealer perform free maintenance under warranty #7 your referral program is only within TX?! but of course you want us to advertise you for free, as you slap a Carvana license plate frame on, expecting us to be promoters #8 no mention in the FAQ, or on any documentation we signed, that when selling you our car, we can add a max 1000 miles before the offer price changes #9 ramp up number of employees answering phones - shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes on hold, 4 times, during the purchase process #10 webmaster: add some question mark mouse hover-overs on your Upload docs page, letting people know what file types are allowed (instead of getting a user-unfriendly "Error" message with no reason) or allow more file types, like PDF

Like the selection of vehicles and being able to try the vehicle for 7 days before purchase. On my 7th day on the trial, I was notified of a registration problem and needed to provide a weight slip. Long wait times via phone, chat, and text made It hard to get a hold of Carvana to get more information on the issue and now I have to take the vehicle to a CA weighmaster get the vehicle weighed so that it can be registered.

Process was very easy and strait forward, I'd give the accuracy of the vehicle assessment an 8 out of 10. There were a few more chips and minor details that were over looked, but all said it was ok. One issue BIG is the smell of cigarette smoke in the vehicle. I wasn't sure what it was at first, but now 10 days later, it's very apparent, it was a smokers car. And I can't Also, the front license plate mount is missing.... that's a ticket here in CA.

The entire process was easy and fast. My car was delivered on a Saturday and I was on the road to Fresno Ca.
