The on line purchase was great. No hiccups, great communication. I made an appointment to pick the car up at the closest dealership. 6 hours away. I kept my appointment. I was there at 5pm. Just like I had agreed to. As I pulled up I received a text that my delivery was delayed and the vehicle wouldn't be available for two more days. I would think that a quality auto dealer like Carvana would track these customer deliveries on at least a daily basis, to keep situations like this from happening. Obviously they don't. No, the weather wasn't an issue. I was very upset. I couldn't stay in a hotel for two days in a strange city waiting for my car to be delivered. And when I received a phone call from a rep, the response was "we're sorry, we don't have a magic looking glass to predict these things". That's it. 12 hours and a couple of tanks of gas wasted. So. I calmed down over the next few days. Drove back Monday, the staff was very helpful and polite. I received my car and everything is peachy. The lack of a delayed delivery notice is absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful of the customer.
