Nissan Murano
Perhaps the thing you'll notice immediately upon climbing inside the Nissan Murano are the comfortable seats. That's because Nissan's Zero Gravity seats are specifically designed to contour to the position a person's body assumes in a zero gravity environment. They have earned a reputation for being among the most comfortable seats on the market.
The interior space made available for passengers inside the Murano is another striking quality you'll notice about this car upon getting behind the wheel. Though it doesn't offer third-row seating like many of its competitors, it makes up for it by providing plenty of room for occupants to stretch out.
A 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque comes standard on the Murano, which should offer interested parties enough power to accommodate their performance needs. Better yet is the fuel economy that comes with Murano's V6 engine, as the EPA estimates it gets 24 mpg combined (21 mpg city/28 mpg highway), which is better than what most rival crossovers can offer.
If you're looking for a crossover that can fulfill all your hauling needs, the Murano may not be your best option. While the Murano offers up to 32.1 cubic feet of space behind its second row seating, and 67 cubic feet with the second row folded down, it's not on par with rivals like the Ford Edge or Jeep Grand Cherokee.
While higher Murano trims offer items such as blind-spot and rear cross-traffic warning systems, in addition to a 360-degree parking camera, the Murano doesn't offer the greatest rear visibility. This is due in large part to its sweeping rear design which restricts visibility looking out the rear windows.
Let's be real, you likely aren't going to be using a vehicle like the Murano to do too much towing. However, if you want a crossover that can serve as a capable towing vehicle, you may be better offer going with the Edge or Grand Cherokee.
