The Audi TT is one of the competitive top-of-the-range luxury sports cars in the market today. The coupe is designed for excellent handling, luxury and with a modernized and stylish cabin. Driving this luxury sports car gives you reliable, top-quality performance, thanks to the all-powerful engine and well-configured transmission.
The latest Audi TT's base engine is a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder powerhouse that delivers 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The finely configured engine offers a satisfying acceleration of 0 to 60 miles per hour within a short 5.3 seconds. Should you desire a more powerful option, the Audi TT RS trim's 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, which delivers 394 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque, is still available at a slightly higher price.
The latest Audi TT's turbocharged engine and transmission are paired in a standard all-wheel-drive configuration to give you the much-needed boost of performance and responsiveness on all four wheels. In the 2019 Audi TT, the powerful engine delivering the aggressive thrust is accompanied by a state-of-the-art noise and vibration-free braking system, which can bring the vehicle from 60 miles per hour to a complete stop within 103 feet. In terms of steering and drivability, the steering wheel is configured to offer great responsiveness on the track and the road.
Few sports cars can boast having the kind of exterior design that the latest Audi TT sports car packs. The outer panels have iconic lines that add to the car's signature outlook while also enhancing its aerodynamic profile. The unique front Singleframe grille fitted on the Audi TT also creates a lasting impression while the sports-inspired bumpers are a thing to behold.
Although the latest Audi TT comes as a four-seater sports car, the rear passenger compartment is not necessarily that roomy and comfortable for long driving hours. The driver and front passengers have sufficient headroom and legroom for a very comfy ride. Whereas an adult can comfortably seat on the rear seats, they may feel a little discomfort if they have to sit for long driving hours. However, children can occupy these seats without any problems.
The sports-inspired car is designed with little ground clearance and low center of gravity for purposes of enhancing stability when cruising at top speeds. This comes at a slight cost as the summer tires fitted on the Audi TT transfer some noise to the interior cabin. However, the sound is not noticeable until you cruise at very high speeds. Nevertheless, this sound is greatly minimized by the unique design meant to keep out most of this sound.
For a car primarily designed for sports purposes, you would probably expect to have the option of going for the manual gearbox. However, the latest Audi TT only comes with the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which is fast, responsive and paired with paddle shifters. However, despite the missing manual mode, the automatic option offers impressive gear shifts with no lags.
