Though the Charger may technically be a sedan, it flexes the kind of sporty handling that is suggested by its brash styling. Rear seating
The front seats are as roomy and as comfortable as one might expect in a full-size sedan, however the rear legroom is somewhat restricted due to the massive tunnel that houses the Charger’s driveshaft. Headroom is also somewhat cramped for taller passengers who are riding in back.
Rear visibility
Another drawback to the Charger is the limited view provided to the driver when looking towards the rear. Visibility can be a bit restricted due to the small rear window and thick roof pillars that compose the vehicle.
Fuel economy
With power and performance comes a price to be paid at the pump. Unfortunately, fuel efficiency across the board for Charger V8 models fails to crack 20 mpg combined. In fact, fuel efficiency steadily decreases as you move from the R/T model (19 mpg combined), to the R/T Scat Pack and SRT trims (18 mpg combined), to the SRT Hellcat (16 mpg combined).
