Genesis Overview

Genesis is one of the newest automotive brands, having been spun off from parent company Hyundai in 2015. The South Korean carmaker offers boldly styled and feature-rich models on par with those from established luxury marques such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz but costing thousands less. It’s the same basic strategy that Lexus used in the 1990s to gain its current foothold. In its short time on the scene, Genesis has developed a strong portfolio of vehicles ranging from the G70 sport sedan, a BMW 3 Series fighter, to the GV80, a midsize SUV that competes with the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class.
