Avoid it at all costs because it has the engine stop/start feature. Very bad driving feel, totally stupid idea to put wear & tear on battery, starter, drive train for a few drops more of gas mileage; or rather the ability to advertise the "best" mileage in category while only getting 20 mpg tops. Not fooling anyone. We have to live with it every time we start the Ford Ranger & it really is about the WORST idea ever in automobile history. TRUTH.

The ranger is an excellent vehicle and beats the competition hands down. The Jeep gladiator gives a strong run for the top spot and might even take it if you want to lay out another 5 to 10k dollars USD on the Jeep brand for a mid sized pickup. For the same money you could find yourself in a full sized more capable vehicle.
