The Ranger has lots of power and handling is great. Some safety features (backup camera, blind spot detection) are good. All the computer controlled stuff useless and confusing, a driving distraction.

Strongly consider a Tacoma instead of a Ranger. The interior design of the Ranger is abysmal, I regret the purchase. It was likely cheap and cost effective and may have looked great in their CAD software - but the designers must not have spent any actual time in this (or perhaps any other) vehicle.
