Alfa Romeo Overview

Founded in 1910, Alfa Romeo is one of the world’s oldest automakers, and its cars have long been benchmarks of Italian style and performance. Even so, slow sales and reliability concerns once plagued the brand, causing it to exit the American market in 1995. But after a series of reorganizations, Alfa Romeo (now part of Stellantis, which also owns Chrysler, Jeep, and Fiat) returned stateside in 2015 with its exotic 4C sports car. It quickly followed that with the Guilia sports sedan in 2017 and, one year later, the Stelvia, a compact SUV which is the company’s biggest seller.
