Ford EcoSport
Small and boxy, the Ford EcoSport feels like the real-life manifestation of a car emoji. Yet, while cute and full of spirit, the EcoSport underwhelms due to its lackluster ride quality, cramped rear seat, and surprisingly thirsty powertrain for a vehicle its size. Its agile handling, available all-wheel drive, and better-than-expected cargo area are noteworthy. Nevertheless, the EcoSport feels more like a novelty than a necessity.

Ford EcoSport Model Lineup
The EcoSport is a subcompact crossover SUV that seats five. It’s the smallest SUV from the American automaker, slotting below the compact Escape. Ford announced that 2022 would be the EcoSport’s final model year.
Ford offers the EcoSport in four trims: the base-level S, the tech-leaning SE, the stylish and sporty SES, and the luxe Titanium. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on the SE trim level and above, as is an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen (since 2020). Notably, the EcoSport is short on driver-assist and advanced safety features, as only blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is available on the SE trim and above. Items such as lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise are not available.
Most EcoSport examples utilize a 123-horsepower turbocharged three-cylinder engine routing power to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive – which comes standard on the SES trim but is otherwise optional – also includes an upgrade to a 166-hp four-cylinder engine. For 2022, however, Ford dropped the three-cylinder, making the four-cylinder and all-wheel drive standard on all trims. Despite its “eco” moniker, the EcoSport does not have a hybrid or electric variant.

2018 Ford EcoSport SE FWD
Very comfortable and quiet vehicle despite its small size. gas mileage is acceptable, but could be better for the size of the engine. get the se model, you get sunroof, heated seats, push button start and smartkey entry, plus satellite radio which we have enjoyed for almost 20 years. the EcoSport is a good vehicle to down-size to from a larger SUV if you no longer need passenger capacity, towing, large trunk

Underpowered to some extent , noisy on any road surface. Expected vastly improved mileage change mated to be more luscious E the I traded in. Not SO. Gets [Name] 2 mpg more the the Edge.. This could have been a big winner for Ford if they hadn't skimped on the basics. Should have kept my Edge, or bought a Honda or Subaru, although I am loathe to buy a" non-Detroit car. Would have been a better value for the money.. Live and learn.

2018 Ford EcoSport SE FWD
It's a nice compact vehicle that has all the necessary items that I wanted. It has heated seats, steering wheel and USB ports that are great for music and listening to books on my phone and of course Waze navigation.

Love the performance of the car but be careful driving it if you get into an accident is hard to get the parts. I had my car but in the back 3 months ago and still no word when the parts ( the biggest and main ones made in India) would be available here. In the meantime I am driving an amazing can that just looks awful outside.
