About the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover

5th generation (L460), introduced for 2022; 2025 is the fourth model year and not a major refresh.

Range Rover positions this model as the original luxury SUV: a full-size flagship that blends a quiet, high-end cabin and smooth ride with real off-road ability and the option of seating for up to seven. Its core appeal is that it does both luxury and capability at the same time. Buyers choose it for its serene road manners, upscale interior, strong towing and bad-weather confidence, and the fact that it still feels special whether it is used for daily driving, family travel, or long-distance road trips.

The 2025 lineup runs from the understated P400 SE with a mild-hybrid six-cylinder engine, air suspension, and a 13.1-inch touchscreen to Autobiography models with richer leather, rear entertainment screens, and added rear-passenger comforts. Long-wheelbase seven-seat versions provide three rows, while the flagship P615 SV pairs SV-specific styling with a 606-hp twin-turbo V8.

How the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover compares

The most important change for the 2026 Range Rover is the arrival of the blacked-out SV Black in standard- and long-wheelbase forms. This is a light trim update rather than a redesign, with most of the lineup carrying over.

Frequently asked questions

Which 2025 Range Rover trims are plug-in hybrids?

The standard-wheelbase P550e SE and P550e Autobiography are the 2025 plug-in hybrid trims. The P550e SE is new for this year, while the previous P550 Autobiography continues under the P550e Autobiography name.

What equipment changed on the 2025 Range Rover?

“I like how sporty the Range Rover Sport is. It's lightweight, but substantial and safe on the road. The engine feels a lot stronger than it is --the turbocharged V6 feels like a V8 with plenty of torque and excellent turning radius. It's a great, comfortable, driving car.”

MRMary R.
