About the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB

1st generation (X243; US model years 2022-2025), mid-cycle refresh year

Mercedes positioned the EQB as a compact electric luxury SUV built around everyday usefulness rather than dramatic EV styling. Its upright shape creates a space-efficient cabin, while the quiet electric drive, comfort-focused suspension, dual digital displays, and familiar Mercedes controls make it approachable for drivers moving from a gasoline SUV. Its key distinction is combining a city-friendly footprint with family-oriented passenger and cargo flexibility.

Mercedes positioned the EQB 250+ as the range-focused version, with a 188-hp front motor and front-wheel drive. The 225-hp EQB 300 4MATIC adds all-wheel drive, while the 288-hp EQB 350 4MATIC emphasizes stronger acceleration and has a panoramic roof. All three have dual 10.25-inch displays, navigation with EV route planning, memory settings for the front seats, and automated parking assistance.

“Es un buen vehículo pero el rango de la batería me parece muy corto, el ensamble en general es bueno pero tiene partes en el tablero que no me convence.”

“It goes very smoothly and feels similar to the engine car. I like it a lot more than Tesla due to the interior design and how it is more similar to the engine car in terms of operation. If you are not ready for the super high tech car, this is a better option. One thing though mobile car app doesn't do as much as Tesla app. Benz should make improvements on it.”
