2021 Toyota Corolla Hatchback

The hatchback experience is not what I expected. The comfort, ease and the style of it is surprisingly amazing. It's fun to drive it!

Great vehicle! I love it!

One of the few vehicles with a manual transmission still available, and it is a NICE transmission, so smooth, very light clutch. The automatic safety features like lane departure , blind spot monitor, and adaptive cruise control have a friendly feel, like a co-pilot helping, not intrusive. Interior room and visibility are better than they look from outside, though the B pillar leaves a bit of a blind spot to be careful of to the left. Wind and tire noise are amazingly quiet, like nothing I've driven before. Overall it's a good comfortable vehicle with adequate cargo capacity. Main downside is I would have liked more cargo capacity and rear seat legroom, but I don't use them enough to have paid what it would have taken to get them. What it has is adequate all but 2-3 times a year. I've been very happy with it and haven't regretted the purchase in the least.

The center of the front is narrow. This make for a hard time for the passenger when shifting is required. My elbow constantly hits the center console when shifting. The cup holders could use to be a little deeper as when shifting, I hit my drinks too.

Toyota is number 1.

Test drive the vehicle and test the safety features as they can be intrusive. Evaluate the cargo capacity as it is small. I am getting lower than advertised gas mileage. The Corolla is still and ECONOMY car even if you get it in top-of-the-line trim.
