2020 Kia Optima Hybrid
It's a great overall value. The only drawback is that the trunk space is a little less than similar sedans because of the hybrid battery placement in the rear instead of under the rear bench seat. But because it's loaded with features for a lot less in the initial purchase price I am still glad we chose it.

2020 Kia Optima Hybrid
The interior temperature of the car with black leather gets very hot (even in a white car). There are lots of safety features, IMO side collision warning is crucial to your safety in this car as there are blind spots in the side rear. I highly recommend the efficient hybrid version with great gas mileage and performance. It's a thrill to drive with it's various steering wheel integrated controls. Handling, acceleration, and suspension while on the freeway is smooth. It's a comfortable ride where you won't even notice that you're going over 80mph, so always set your cruise control with the press and flick of a button on the steering wheel with all the other integrated tech features that show up clearly on your dash. It's an exhilarating, yet smooth ride going up steep grades with sport mode. It's a solid built 5 star safety rated car. I'd definitely recommend upgrading to the cooling seats. The floor clearance is a little on the low side, so be careful when parking to close to a sidewalk, or else you'll scrape your bumper. Though the trunk is compact, it has foldable rear seats, you'll love the spaciousness of the cargo room. The head clearance rivals that of a Toyota Avalon, and even with all these features that come with this car (except cooling seats) it will cost you several thousand dollars less with better gas mileage. This car performs like a Mercedes, handles like a BMW, and rides smooth and is spacious like a Cadillac.

It's a good value for the price. The same features in a luxury sedan would cost double the price. But since this is a Korean import, it is cheaper.

Keep in mind that in the colder months, the heater will not work in electric mode, so you are forced to run it in Hybrid mode if you don't want to be cold. And that defeats the purpose of having an electric car that can go short distances on all electric power. It's my biggest frustration with the car.
