About the 2020 Jaguar F-TYPE

1st generation (2014-2024), final pre-refresh year before the 2021 redesign

Jaguar positioned the F-TYPE as its definitive two-seat sports car: a dramatic coupe or convertible built around style, sound, and driver involvement. Its appeal came from the aluminum-intensive body, a driver-focused cabin, and a wide power spread from a lighter turbo four-cylinder to supercharged V8 power. Against more clinical rivals, the F-TYPE sold emotion and theater as much as raw numbers.

The 2020 F-TYPE ranges from the lighter, rear-wheel-drive P300 with a 296-hp turbo four-cylinder to the 575-hp, all-wheel-drive SVR with a carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Between them are supercharged V6 models, the 550-hp V8-powered R and two Checkered Flag editions with Windsor leather Performance seats, special cabin trim and a heated steering wheel.
