Dodge positioned the Charger as America’s only four-door muscle car: a roomy full-size sedan that could serve family-duty one day and deliver big-engine attitude the next. What set it apart was the mix of rear-drive muscle-car character, available HEMI V8 power, a rare AWD option on V6 models, and a broad trim spread that ran from practical daily driver to 707-hp super-sedan.
