“Great little car!! Missing some more 'futuristic' functions like automatic windows and cruise control but it's not really a bother.”
2018 Chevrolet Spark: What's New, Specs & Features
Last updated August 13, 2026

The 2018 Chevrolet Spark is a carryover with no major changes. Its design, engine, trim lineup, safety equipment, and touchscreen technology continue from 2017.
About the 2018 Chevrolet Spark
2nd generation (2016-2022 U.S. Spark), pre-refresh third model year before the 2019 front-end update.
Chevrolet positions the Spark as a very small hatchback built for city life: easy to park, easy to maneuver and more useful than its size suggests. The official brochure leans on its fun personality, hatchback cargo flexibility and smartphone-friendly tech, especially the standard touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. What sets it apart is that it feels less stripped-down than many tiny cars, while still being sized for dense urban driving and short daily trips.
The 2018 Spark lineup runs from the straightforward LS to the more fully equipped 2LT, with the rugged-looking ACTIV offering a slightly raised suspension and distinctive trim. Every version has a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the 2LT adds heated front seats, push-button start, and rear parking sensors.

2018 Chevrolet Spark Reviews
What owners are saying about the 2018 Chevrolet Spark.
“I love my Chevy Spark! Great gas mileage. I can find a parking spot everywhere I go and it's easy to drive. The first downfall is that you have to manually lock the doors, the key fob only unlocks and locks the driver door. The seats are not so comfortable enough to ride in for hours on end. So I wouldn't suggest a road-trip in this vehicle. Over all it's exactly what I needed and I don't regret my purchase.”
“You better know how to use manual transmission. It's a cute fundamental car. Love the gas mileage especially with the price of gas going up.”
