2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid
The car was amazing. Great gas mileage, super comfortable, quiet ride. Absolutely loved it until the charging module caught fire and blew up our garage in the middle of the night.

2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid
Very smooth ride, interior is well made, car is solid, quiet, great sound system, love the PHEV. I wish there were more color options, it was really hard to get (I had to purchase and ship from out of state). Despite the hassle of purchasing and my not being crazy about the exterior color, I love the car. My only real complaint is that there seems to be no way to disable the charging cable lock when the car is locked (an option on most other EVs and PHEVs). We have free charging stations at work that are not accessible to the public. They are in very high demand and one cable per two parking spaces. The system is you park in one of the two spots and leave your charging port open. When a charging cable is free, someone will plug it in to your car and unplug it when charging is complete. My only option for using this system is to leave my car unlocked all day. Most days, I bring my 120V charger from home and plug in to a regular outlet, but charging takes longer and there are fewer 120V outlets than level 2 charging stations, so they are not always available.

2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid
The Sonata is a very nice car. I like that it's a plug in hybrid and I use a lot less gasoline. One strange thing is the gas cap gets stuck when screwing it back on and you have to kind of [bleep] it in twice. Also when you start the car, you have to wait a full second between pressing the on button and putting the car in reverse or else it won't actually start the car. Other than that it's pretty good.

Only buy a PHEV if you are willing to plug it in constantly.

Hyundai Sonata Plugin Hybrid is the best-in-class Plugin Hybrid from both performance and fuel economy aspect. I love it.

2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid
It is a good compromise between an all-electric car and a gasoline powered on. The electrical charge will handle almost all of your short-distance errands around home and the hybrid capability will get you close to 500 mpg.

2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid
The 2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid is a very comfortable and economical car. It has an EV range of about 30 miles, so my wife can commute to work with never needing to buy any gas. We charge it at home every couple of days. For trips, it has an over 600-mile range without charging and we get 45-50 mpg in the hybrid mode. It is a large sedan and holds 5 people easily.

2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid
The Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid has a very sophisticated powertrain. It is the best value around for a comfortable electrified car, especially if your round trip commute is less than 35 miles. In EV mode it is an exceptional vehicle in heavy city/suburban traffic, as was the case with the fully electric vehicle I previously owned. Hyundai also provides a lifetime guarantee on the EV battery to the original owner.

2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid
Owning a Sonata Hybrid plug in has been the best car purchase we have made in a long time. So economical we are fill up a smaller tank every 3 weeks instead of weekly. Love the visibility and rear view camera plus lane departure warnings. While it is a far smaller car than a Hummer, I feel very safe in my Sonata.
