2017 Chevrolet Volt

The Chevrolet plug-in hybrid Volt is the best of its kind in the world right now. I simply plug it into a standard outlet in my driveway each night, and I get 56-59 miles on a charge during temperate weather -- 34-38 in winter. It's the perfect car for drivers with small families and reasonable commutes. And I get 45 mpg on gas when driving longer distances. It handles like a sports car, goes 0-30 in about 3 seconds, and is just a pleasure all the way around.

Greatly outperforms the EPA listed EV range. Can achieve 114 miles in one charge, with ideal driving conditions! More common is to experience 60-70 miles of EV range, and there is always a 10-gallon gas tank at 43 mpg to back you up. Rear visibility is kind of bad. Online user community (gm-volt.com) is very helpful and supportive!

The Volt looks and drives great. I love that I cut my gas usage in half (45 miles one way to work). The tax incentive was an actually great incentive.

Overall, it is the best car I've ever driven. I hope many more like it are made and sold.

Great car, worth the money.

The Volt is a fast comfortable ride. Electric range is very good for most distances needing to be traveled. When using the gas generator the acceleration is not as good as electric but is adequate for driving. The don't like driving normal gas cars after driving the Volt.
