2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV

This vehicle has extremely strong torque , is faster than most people expect and has a very low center of gravity. It is a joy to drive. The fact that it has great range, excellent interior space and is very practical is just a bonus! And the regenerative breaking is amazing.

I love the instant torque and quiet ride. Tire rotations scheduled every 7500 miles is only maintenance item till coolant change at 150000 miles. Never have to go to a gas station ever.

The Bolt is a fabulous car for urban/suburban driving. With a range of 200+ miles on a full charge, it will satisfy almost anyone's daily needs. I recommend investing in a 240v home charger so you don't have to depend on public charging stations. (If you can use a charging station at work, that will probably take care of your needs too.) It's a great feeling to be able to just plug it in at night and know that it will be ready for you in the morning. If you want to take it on a long road trip, you will have to build in extra time for charging away from home.

The Chevy Bolt was voted Best Car in 2017, so I knew I was safe in terms of getting value for my money. What I didn't know is that I would have fun driving the car. I've had a number of cars in my lifetime, and I use them for going places, without thinking (or caring) much about the car itself. That has changed with my Bolt. Now I have so much fun just driving it that I seek out things I have to drive to! A word of advice: always opt for the most advanced autonomous features: lane keep, forward collision-avoidance, backup warnings, etc. With cars being put on the market with these features and more, it's just DUMB not to get the most advanced features available; they'll be surpassed soon enough.

An electric car with good distance per charge is the only way to go if the price is right.

The Chevy Bolt has excellent range, and excellent acceleration and handling. It is fairly easy to operate. We love it!
