2015 Nissan Frontier King Cab S 2WD
I have to admit that I was backed into the Frontier because it was what I could afford. Two keys to me were utility and economy. As previously stated, I traded in a Ford Ranger that I loved, yet it had recurring mechanical problems probably due to hard usage from the previous owner. So, this mid-sized Frontier seems too big for a 4-cylinder engine, and the fuel economy seems too low for a 4-cylinder engine. My Ranger (2.3 liter 4-cylinder engine) got 28-30 miles per gallon. Yet I have had 3 mini-vans with 3 liter V-6 engines with automatic transmissions that got 20-25 miles per gallon. So this Frontier seems both underpowered and to have too little fuel economy (rated 19-23 mpg). I will admit that the engine seems up to my needs so far, and I am hopeful that fuel economy will be better than stated after it is broken in. I have had good experiences with Nissan vehicles before, and I am enjoying my first new vehicle for my use and the advantages that the extra size affords.

1) Headlights/hi beams are awful. My Mazda 3 xenon lights were far superior 2) The interior carpet and dash plastic feels cheap 3) Nissan needs to add remote start as an option

I like my new Frontier having only driven it a few miles in the month I have owned it. My one complaint is the overly stiff suspension.

Disappointed in the gas mileage -- old 2001 with 214,000 miles did just as good

Having had a previous great Nissan experience, I decided it just made sense to try and do it again. Consumer Reports likes the Frontier and the price and terms were ok. KBB says I got a good deal!! My friends think I got a great truck... so do I.

I feel I've made an excellent choice on this vehicle. This truck is fun and adventurous to drive, I look forward to it every time. In short time I've owned it, appears to be reliant, smooth, powerful, dependable, attractive and plenty useful.

No one at Nissan has been able to tell me why the pickup beds are misaligned on Frontier pickups, but they all are on the extended cab models

So far so good. Comparing equal equipment on the Colorado and the Frontier found the Frontier to be $3500 dollars cheaper than the Chevy. Nissan ought to promote this.
