2015 Kia Sportage

The new Kia Sportage is my wife's vehicle. She has let me drive it twice, but it was and is intended for her and meets her desires in a vehicle, and my wishes for a safe vehicle for her to drive. Among the features I like best about it is the rear view camera and the back-up sensors. My wife is especially happy with the outside looks and for the interior conveniences and leather upholstery.

I absolutely love my new Sportage!!!! I don't even like to let my husband drive it.

I find that my KIA Sportage is exactly what I needed in a vehicle. Its cargo space is sufficient to carry everything I need and yet still maintain the appearance of an automobile.

My central complaint about my new and previous Kia Sportage is a thumping sound when only 1 window is open as the car is traveling at moderate to fast speeds. It is always necessary to have at least 2 windows open to avoid the agonizing ear pain.

One thing is that the motor seems to hesitate now and then and the rear mudflap/deflectors are cheap and have broken in the ice/snow over the winter. Poor design.

I wish the base model did come with automatic headlights and power seats

Please make it so the passenger seat goes up (higher than it does) and down. It is so low that the sun visor is useless. And making the sun visor come down lower will not help, because in addition to the sun visor not working there is the fact that a grown woman can't even see over the dashboard making a road trip no fun because you can't see. And the sun is in your eyes because your see is so low the visor does not work effectively.

I love the Kia brand, however I wish the entire vehicle line up had the same features. For example my Optima SX did not come with the same features as my Sorento SX. It is a frustrating issue between all of the cars in your line.

Front seats are extremely uncomfortable. Fabric is poor quality. Front passenger seat can't be raised. Bucket seats should be replaced with more comfortable seats. Not a sports car, doesn't need seats like that. These seats would not make me buy another Kia.

I like most things about the Sportage, but I hate the variable speed transmission. There are design features on this model that need work.
