My husband used a Jeep for travel and told me how comfortable and easy to drive it was; when I took one for a test drive I found this to be true. I actually enjoy driving more now and go on farther excursions than normal. I'm also enjoying all the other perks, like Sirius, keyless starting, opening door (no more fidgeting in purse to find the key), automatic headlights and info on the display windows. I tell people about it all the time. I also think it is quite stylish with its two-tone interior-exterior color.

I like the Cherokee Limited very much, but sad to say, had to have the transmission replaced after 2500 miles! It was handled quickly and properly, but hopefully it is all better now!

They finally made seat belt extenders. The original seat belts are longer than most, but when you are short-waisted the seat belts hit you at the correct spot on your neck with the extender. I just got them today.

Extremely disappointed by this vehicle. Horrible, horrible, horrible in/on snow. Even worse in/on sludge. Muffler rattles-not talking about normal noise. Engine very loud between 40-50mph. Car lunges forward when it wants to-acceleration, deceleration, with brake on, etc... whole front end shakes on acceleration and when turning right. No/not enough heat where feet are positioned. Feels as though transmission disengages when pressing on the brake down a steep hill and vehicle does what it wants. This vehicle has me afraid to drive it since it does exactly what it wants when it wants and is hard to control. Horrible!!!

Horrible experience. Vehicle has been in the shop 3 times and hasn't had its first oil change.

I purchased this vehicle not to long ago, so I have not driven it enough to get a full feel of everything. I like the design of the car and look. It does look pretty stylish. I own a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. One major problem I have with it is when I am driving at low speeds (under 10 miles) it sometimes feels "choppy". Almost like it is trying to shift between two gears. I would also like to have a "bit" more head room and a little bit more room to move the back row seats back more... so there is more leg room and more room to take in and out the car seat. The location of the parking break in the middle of the front seats seems kind of an odd spot. Sometimes I worry if my dog will accidentally hit it with his paw when he is sitting in the front seat. The electronic equipment could be something a bit more desired. At one point the touch screen stopped working, but started again after the car has been shut down for a few hours. Although I understand that touch screen in cars is all the rage and the way to go... I feel that actual buttons are important. Right now I have to change screens to turn the climate settings from say fan to feet from fan from head and feet.. this can be difficult to do when driving, since you cannot "feel" the right button. This includes changing the radio station - yes there is a button on the steering wheel that scrolls through each pre-programed station, but say I want a specific station. I cannot just "Feel" the correct buttons. I have to look at the screen which can be unsafe. Also, with all the recalls about Jeep in the news it does not make me feel that safe that I picked the correct car. I like the Jeep look, but as with most American cars it still seems like they are just not meeting the same standards you get from a lot of car companies overseas. Don't get me wrong the cars have come a long way and made great improvements. Also, on consumer reports it shows the Jeep as the lowest rating small SUV. This makes me feel like I did not make a smart choice. However, don't let all the negativity get you down. I think the Jeep has a strong brand, but can get some improvements in the overall function & technology aspect.

I do not like the auto start/stop function as designed. Instead of it always being on and having to manually shut it off every time we start the vehicle, I would prefer it to always be off and to manually turn it on as other manufacturers do or a way to completely disable it altogether. The one thing that I DON'T like about the vehicle is the Auto start/stop feature. While I understand the reasoning behind it, I would like a way to permanently disable the system or at least be able to turn it on if I wanted it. As it is now, I have to manually turn it off every time I start the vehicle.

I have had two issues with the car in the 3 months of ownership. First the radio will change frequency on its own from XM to FM or AM. Second, the light on-off switch for the headlights gets knocked often and turns off the lights when getting in and out of the car.

Very easy to get in and out, I am handicapped. Cup-holders in front, back too far. No storage behind passager seat. Couldn't get color seats we want with memory set controls.
