Dodge positioned the Challenger as a modern American muscle coupe with clear 1970s design influence, strong rear-wheel-drive performance and more day-to-day space than typical two-door rivals. The 2015 lineup stretched from the everyday 305-hp SXT to several V8 models, including the 485-hp Scat Pack and 707-hp SRT Hellcat. The Challenger received a revised 1971-inspired split grille, LED halo lighting, updated hood treatments and split LED taillamps.

A touchscreen and 7-inch configurable instrument display became standard across the lineup. Upper trims received an 8.4-inch touchscreen, while Bluetooth became standard on SXT.
Structural
Dodge expanded the suspension, steering, braking and cooling upgrades, especially on Scat Pack and SRT models. SRT 392 gained six-piston front brakes, an adaptive suspension and configurable drive modes.
