I wish my new 535i felt smaller on the road. It is a great driving car, holds the road well and has strong acceleration, but it feels large and has less visibility out the front than the previous BMW's.

Safety of vehicle was determining factor. I was t-boned in a 2006 BMW 5 series and no one was hurt.

Please allow the option to default to Eco Pro mode upon startup. I often forget to press the button and would prefer it to be my default mode rather than comfort mode. I already had a nail in my tire and it cost way too much to replace the run flat tires. Give the option of regular tires with a spare tire in the trunk.

Disappointed in the steptronic shift ability of the vehicle. Too many gears in 8speeds to downshift and upshift. My past 528 was fun to drive this one not fun just rides smoother. The 4cyl engine has terrible hold back when downshifting to drive down hills or slowing in traffic. The heater system is too complicated to operate. Poor cabin heat for the first 10 minutes of operation even after a 15 minute warm up time. I like the 6 cylinder engine.

The BMW 550i is definitely more fun to drive than the Mercedes S550.

I like everything about my 535i. The only issue I've had is with the proximity keyless entry. This may be a user error. I'm looking into it. :) Also, if I had to do it over again, I likely would not lease it. It makes me nervous and less able to feel free with the car. I tend to avoid driving it in situations where I normally would because I don't want to go over 10,000 miles and I'm paranoid about damage. I wasn't like this with my last BMW, which we purchased.

Great car. Nonetheless, there are some features on the Lexus that I prefer, but they are relatively minor

Please please please. Install a remote start system. It is a wonderful system to combat the heat in the summer and cold mornings in the winter.
