2014 Honda CR-V

Love the new vehicle - it's the 3rd CR-V we've bought brand new.

Really enjoyed this buying experience and the product. Excellent vehicle. I look forward to passing this vehicle on to my daughter when she starts college in 13 years.

We are not happy with our new vehicle. The radio reception is bad. The CRV vibrates roughly when at idle. After 2 months we had a rear differential leak and the part needed to be replaced. We are dissatisfied with our purchase.

Road noise, it's not good

Wish they had more options on the wheels and tires on the LX model. Needs standard auto headlights and a folding key with key fob. I wish the key could fold into the key fob.

My father has owned 3 Honda CRVs, and his purchase experiences were the biggest influence on my choosing this car.

CR-V engine mgt computer needs to be re-programmed. The computer shifts into 4th and 5th gear way too early, sacrificing performance for fuel economy. I drive in D3 way too much as a result.

The gas mileage is much lower than advertised (13 to 16 miles per gallon per tank of gas).

Hate the way it rides. You can feel every little bump, etc. It does not ride smooth like I assumed it would. Our Forrester rode smoother. When we did the test drive, my husband drove. Mainly it was on a freeway. So I didn't feel any bumps. But now I sure notice them, especially when I drive. We took my old uncle, 90 years old, out for a drive and he made a comment about how rough it rode. Maybe it's because it's an AWD? Whatever, but I sure don't like the car. We probably should have looked around more and did more test driving.

The only thing I've got some reservations about is the USB connection port to connect my phone. Feels a little flimsy.
