2014 Chevrolet Volt

Side-rear visibility is blocked by large/wide body between side and rear windows. Otherwise, best handling and my favorite car I've ever owned, even if it wasn't electric. If owned for 8 years, with my 30-mile commute, this car will cost less than a comparable non-electric car. That fact should be promoted more by Chevrolet. This is my favorite of all the cars I've owned. With the tax rebate and fuel savings I will eventually realize, it's a good price for the car.

The Volt is a terrific new approach to automotive engineering, magnificently executed by GM, delivering a high-quality, moderate-luxury, high performing and extremely positive owning and driving experience. I'm glad we got it. Hopefully the battery will give us good life.

I am very pleased with the performance of my vehicle. It exceeds the published miles per charge significantly (38 vs 43).

When in ''HOLD'' mode, it doesn't appear to charge any more than needed to maintain the mode. Would think it would charge at least some extra to increase battery range when returning to NORMAL mode.

The button to select the driving mode add and the start button are located too close together.

I wish the side mirrors provided more visibilty

Better information on the performance of the battery across all temperature ranges would have been appreciated. Better information on the range of charges for electricity would have been useful.

Level charge 12A should be configurable (set permanently in configurations settings). Some problem with entertainment system controls.

Great car. I wish others understood more why the Volt is a great choice for around-town driving.
