About the 2013 Porsche Panamera

1st generation (970), final model year before the 2014 mid-cycle refresh

Porsche positioned the Panamera as a four-seat grand touring car that joined sports-car performance with luxury-sedan comfort and hatchback usefulness. Its low driving position, powerful engines and carefully tuned chassis distinguished it from conventional luxury sedans, while four individual seats, a folding rear seat and a large rear hatch made it suitable for commuting and long trips. The model’s central idea was Porsche driving character without giving up passenger space or everyday cargo capacity.

The 2013 lineup ranges from 300-hp V6 models focused on everyday comfort to the 380-hp S Hybrid and the 500-hp Turbo and 550-hp Turbo S. The new Platinum Editions emphasize comfort with heated front seats, parking sensors and upgraded lighting, while the GTS emphasizes handling with a lower suspension, stronger brakes and a performance exhaust.
