Honda positioned the Civic as a smart, efficient compact car that mixes easy everyday driving with unusually strong standard equipment for the class. Structural

Honda added sound insulation, upgraded cabin materials, and retuned the chassis, steering, and suspension for a quieter ride and better-controlled handling.

The DX trim was dropped for 2013. The rest of the trim lineup largely carried over.
