2nd generation CTS. This is the final year for the original CTS sedan, while the coupe, Sport Wagon, and CTS-V versions of this generation carried on into 2014.

Lineup

Cadillac simplified the non-V trim structure. The base trim and 3.6 Sport were dropped, the Sport Wagon's Sport trim was renamed 3.0 Luxury Collection Sport, and the 3.0 Luxury Collection became the starting CTS sedan trim. New Standard, Performance Collection, and Premium Collection variants filled out the sedan, coupe, and Sport Wagon range.

Powertrain

A six-speed automatic became standard across the regular non-V CTS lineup, ending the manual option in models such as the regular 3.6 coupe. The CTS-V retained its manual or automatic transmission choice.

Tech and convenience

Sport Wagon models gained adaptive remote start as standard equipment. Cadillac also concentrated more comfort and media equipment in the mainstream Collection trims.

Performance hardware

CTS-V models gained standard two-piece front brake rotors, designed to manage heat while reducing rotating weight.

Styling

Cadillac made only minor detail updates. The body and overall design carried over without a full refresh.
