Overtrail is the trail-focused choice, with a raised suspension, a locking rear axle, underbody protection, and systems for low-speed travel over rough ground. Luxury favors road-trip comfort with three rows, 22-inch wheels, softer leather, and massaging front seats.

On newer GX 550 models, Luxury moves beyond Premium+ with 22-inch wheels, softer semi-aniline leather, massaging front seats, and a more adjustable driver's seat. Both retain three rows and the GX's standard full-time four-wheel drive.

Pick Premium for three-row family use and the core GX equipment. Pick Overtrail for serious off-pavement travel. It has two rows and adds a raised suspension, a locking rear axle, extra wheel movement on rough ground, and dedicated trail-driving systems.
