Jaguar I-PACE
Jaguar’s first all-electric vehicle, the I-Pace, may borrow some of its eye-catching styling cues from its siblings, the F-Type sports car and the E-Pace SUV, but it’s a standout vehicle all on its own. Besides attractive sheet metal, the I-Pace offers impressive and refined performance from its 394-horsepower battery-electric powertrain as well as a supremely luxurious ride. On the flip side, its expensive price tag, relatively modest range, and restricted rear visibility put it a step or two behind some rival models in this fast-developing segment.

Jaguar I-PACE Model Lineup
The I-Pace is an all-electric luxury crossover SUV with room for five. The only all-electric vehicle built by Jaguar, the I-Pace measures roughly 11 inches longer than the subcompact E-Pace and about three inches shorter than the compact F-Pace, its gasoline-powered counterparts.
Jaguar has offered the I-Pace in three different trims: the entry-level S, the mid-tier SE, and the top-of-the-line HSE. However, in 2022, both the S and SE trims were dropped, leaving the HSE as the only available trim. All versions come well-equipped. A 10.0-inch center touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration is standard, as is a fixed panoramic sunroof and an adaptive air suspension. In terms of advanced safety features, forward collision mitigation and lane-keeping assist have been standard since 2019, while adaptive cruise control and blind-spot warning became standard in 2022 (and were previously optional). Leather upholstery and heated front seats also became standard that year. Some notable options include ventilated front seats and a wireless smartphone charger.
The I-Pace is motivated by a 90-kWh battery pack paired with two electric motors that produce a total of 394 horsepower and 512 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels. The electric Jag is EPA-rated for between 234 and 253 miles of range, depending on the model year. Once the battery pack is depleted, a standard 240-volt AC outlet can replenish it in roughly 10-13 hours, while a DC fast-charger can top up charge levels from 0 to 80% in about 40 minutes.

I love the performance of the I-Pace, but very much dislike the infotainment system. It's running on a slow, outdated processor and has too many/disorganized menu options. I have a long commute and was unaware the mileage range is decreased when highway driving and increased in city driving or traffic.

It's a great car, but still buggy. Be prepared for that. I love my I-Pace, but Jaguar really should do better when it comes to quality control on software.

The Jaguar i-Pace is a great vehicle; powerful, sporty, comfortable, and very quick. Quiet comfort; great alternative to Tesla with acceptable range.
