The newer R/T is the straightforward daily-use pick. It has 420 hp, standard all-wheel drive, adaptive cruise and lane-management features, smartphone connectivity and the useful rear hatch. R/T Plus fits drivers who also want a head-up display, surround-view camera and more elaborate lighting.

Both use a 485-hp 6.4-liter HEMI V8, but the SRT 392 is the more polished version. It adds adaptive suspension, larger six-piston front brakes, leather performance seats, navigation, and heated and ventilated front seats. R/T Scat Pack focuses more directly on the engine and core performance hardware.

On the previous-generation Scat Pack, Widebody means more than wider fenders. It adds larger six-piston front brakes, wider-body competition suspension, three-mode adaptive damping and a limited-slip rear differential. It is the more handling-focused 485-hp V8 Scat Pack.

The Redeye is the higher-output version. Late previous-generation Hellcat Widebody models use a 717-hp supercharged V8, while the non-Jailbreak Redeye makes 797 hp and adds specialized supercharger cooling. Both have widebody bodywork, large six-piston front brakes and adaptive suspension.

Look for the SRT8 if you want performance with more comfort and cabin equipment. Choose the Super Bee if you prefer the same basic 6.4-liter V8 idea with a simpler interior and heritage styling. The regular SRT8 adds features such as adaptive suspension, navigation and heated and ventilated front seats.

Both limited 2014 editions add anniversary wheels, commemorative badges, unique leather trim, Beats audio and special display graphics. The SXT version is based on SXT Plus and uses a 3.6-liter V6. The R/T version is based on R/T Plus and uses a 5.7-liter HEMI V8.
