Ram positions the 3500 as its maximum-capability heavy-duty pickup for demanding commercial work, large trailers and high payloads. Its defining strengths are available high-output diesel torque, up to 36,610 pounds of towing capacity, a leaf-spring rear suspension and single- or dual-rear-wheel configurations. Unlike strictly work-focused rivals, the range also offers upscale cabins, large screens and premium seating on higher trims without giving up core hauling and towing hardware.
