2026 Dodge Charger Daytona

The biggest change for 2026 is the addition of a four-door Charger Daytona alongside the two-door model. This is a meaningful expansion and trim reshuffle, not a full redesign.

About the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona

1st next-generation Charger generation on the STLA Large platform; second Daytona EV model year, first year with the four-door sedan and a revised trim strategy.

The Charger Daytona is Dodge’s attempt to turn classic American muscle into an EV without sanding off the attitude. Dodge markets it around straight-line speed, standard all-wheel drive, a widebody stance, a liftback cargo area, dramatic digital displays and the brand’s Fratzonic exhaust sound. Compared with most EVs, it is positioned less as a quiet efficiency play and more as a practical, all-weather performance car with theater, sound and personality.

The 2026 Charger Daytona lineup centers on the 670-hp Scat Pack, an electric AWD muscle car with synthetic exhaust sound, track-focused drive modes and a practical rear hatch. Scat Pack Plus adds everyday upgrades such as a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, upgraded headlights and a power hatch.

A four-door sedan body joins the Charger Daytona line. The Scat Pack continues in two-door form as well.
Powertrain
The Daytona Scat Pack leaves the factory with its full 670 horsepower unlocked.
Trims and equipment
The Track Package becomes optional rather than being bundled with every Scat Pack. R/T Plus and Scat Pack Plus are new named trims, although Dodge’s current U.S. lineup focuses on Scat Pack and Scat Pack Plus and does not actively present the R/T grades.

Frequently asked questions

What is the biggest change to the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona?

The biggest change is the arrival of a four-door body. It gives the electric Charger Daytona easier rear-seat access while the two-door Scat Pack remains in the lineup.

Does the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona still come as a two-door car?

Yes. The 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack is offered in both two-door and four-door forms.

How powerful is the 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack?

The 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack produces 670 horsepower, with the full output unlocked at the factory.

Is the Track Package standard on every 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack?

No. For 2026, the Track Package is a standalone option rather than equipment bundled into every Daytona Scat Pack.

Is there a 2026 Charger Daytona R/T?
