For 2025, the message centers on giving daily drivers hybrid efficiency, available AWD, a cleaner cabin design, and straightforward tech in a shape that still feels stylish and easy to live with. Against rivals, the Camry’s big differentiators are its hybrid-only lineup, broad trim spread from basic to sporty, and Toyota’s long-running reputation for dependability.

The LE is the comfort- and efficiency-focused entry trim, while the SE adds sportier styling, a firmer suspension, and paddle shifters rather than more power. The XLE emphasizes comfort with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and 12.3-inch displays. The XSE combines the larger displays and richer cabin equipment with the SE’s sport suspension and bolder body details.

Powertrain

Gas-only four-cylinder and V6 powertrains are gone. Every 2025 Camry uses Toyota’s newer 2.5-liter hybrid system, and each trim is sold with front-wheel drive or electronic AWD. The TRD and SE Nightshade Edition trims were also dropped.

Styling

The redesigned Camry gets a hammerhead-inspired front end, reshaped exterior details, and an all-new cabin design. SE and XSE trims receive distinct sport body treatments.

Safety

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, along with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Safe Exit Alert. Blind-spot monitoring moves from optional to standard on the LE and SE.

Tech

Every trim gets digital gauges and an updated touchscreen system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. LE and SE use 8-inch touchscreens, while XLE and XSE have 12.3-inch touchscreens and 12.3-inch digital gauge clusters. The XLE also gains a standard heated steering wheel, while the LE’s power driver’s seat moves from standard to optional.

Structural

Toyota retuned and re-engineered the suspension and braking system to improve response and ride comfort. SE and XSE use sport-tuned suspension setups.
