It is the MINI for shoppers who want the brand’s distinctive style and lively feel but need more cargo room, rear-seat flexibility, and all-weather confidence than the smaller MINIs provide.
The S ALL4 is the everyday gas model, pairing a 241-hp turbo engine and all-wheel drive with a roomier cabin and flexible rear seat. The 312-hp John Cooper Works ALL4 adds sharper suspension tuning and upgraded brakes, while the electric SE ALL4 combines dual-motor all-wheel drive with up to 212 miles of EPA range. Every version centers its cabin around a 9.4-inch round touchscreen.

The Cooper, Cooper ALL4, and Cooper S trims are dropped, and Cooper S ALL4 is renamed S ALL4.
Styling
The exterior adopts a cleaner, more upright shape. The redesigned cabin emphasizes recycled and leather-free materials.
Safety
Parking Assistant becomes standard across the lineup, and the new platform brings updated driver-assistance technology.
Tech
A new 9.4-inch round touchscreen runs MINI Operating System 9 and adds MINI Experience Modes. An alarm system and heated steering wheel also become standard across the lineup.
Structural
The larger third-generation body provides more interior room, along with a flexible 40/20/40 split rear seat.
